Once in a while I am tempted to actually respect the goons. They have the largest alliance in the game. Some of their forum flames seem well considered and logical. But then I remember that these guys are really just a group of insecure computer nerds all herded together on a third party forum. On top of that, it's hard to forget that they all put all of their faith into an unstable egomaniac who couldn't even handle a public appearance at a gamer conference without completely blowing it and forfeiting all of your faux power and his international plane tickets. I try to respect them. But in the end, it's really just a big blob of nerds striving for validation, isn't it. "CCP put us on the login page! We win Eve!" I suppose if it helps you guys with the cope with the stench of fabreeze, mildew, and stale food that defines your real lives it's not a complete loss.
