Oursulaert. 0.9 system, major Gallente industrial hub. 259 pilots in system. Approaching stargate to Alentene, with 30 of those pilots milling around in space on your overview. Assorted Gallente Navy, Concord, and Federation Customs ships also visible.
Your Megathron has a great many good points, but remarkable speed is not one of them. So, you click on the afterburner to get to the gate a little faster.
Ooops.
That wasn't the afterburner
That was a large smartbomb.

Well somehow - Galaxy only knows how - I missed everything, and continued on my merry way. But I do NOT want to go through that feeling again ______________________________

Yup yup. They were still there from when I was flying back out of 0.0, and had them on to disrupt any interceptor interference.
Next time, I'll offline them when I get back to empire ______________________________

Doesn't fix it--as long as you have 95% cap and you click it, they'll online themselves. -- Proud member of the [23].

i had been collecting loot from missions for years.. most of it was junk but there was some good stuff. Many missions worth of tags, logs, etc. In all reality, all the stuff had great value to me.. there were a good number of named weapons and items that I know I could have sold. Probably no more then a 100m in value total.. but the logs and tags were something I really wanted to hold onto.
so.. I thought I woudl move it from Yulai to my new base of operations. Got my Badger Mk2 that's fitted for speed and protection, it's full of shield hardeners and stuff and went to get all the loot. I made it there OK, picked up my loot and headed back to kakakela. Anyways, halfway there I got caught up doing something. An hour or two later I noticed Eve minimized on my taskbar, I opened it and.. well..

worst of all, they were like 10k rats. The only reason I died was because I had forgotten to repair my armor and was partially into structure. Had I been at the keyboard I wouldn't have died.
damn rats
no clue how long I had been sitting, it had to have been a while though. Still, I had enough time to jump 4 systems in my pod, pick up my slow badger, jump back and pick up the loot before anyone noticed the cans full of stuff. ________
