So ship spinning is back on Sisi (again) and I presume this version is the one slated to go live to tq on the 18th, why was the blue diss-embark button removed? Now I have to decide if I want to go to CQ before I even dock and can't go back to the hanger view from CQ like I could on the very short (and bug filled) Sisi mirror a little while ago.
What gives? |

People where hiting the undock button instead of the switch button so they placed it up by the system info. My guess just as a place holder location untill they update the full station UI. Easier to make a new box in free space then deal with the 3+ forms of Station UI. |

I am not sure I understand your problem here: You can go from your CQ into the hangar view and vice versa, assuming that you have not disabled station environments (in which case you would always end up in your hangar).
As for why the blue disembark button was removed: It was a very confusing way of allowing you to disembark, and made the existing undock button confusing as well+ª except when you already knew what they were supposed to do. |

The button to switch modes is on the top left below your SOLAR SYSTEM information.
It says clearly "Enter your Captain's Quarters" or "Enter Ship Hangar"
It's a translucent button with an outline. NOSTRO AURUM NON EST AURUM VULGI |

When I first tried the current build I had a window just covering that button. Had to ask in the Singularity channel where it was! CCP employees should never proclaim a feature to be awesome. Only subscribers should. |

clearly a button like this should be in the neocom and clearly marked as before. Otherwise people will be looking for these buttons in all the wrong places.

Sorry I didn't have the button ticked to load station enviro. When I did though, the button is in a really stupid spot, it gets covered by windows and is really hard to see unless someone shows you on the forums...
The button on the Neocom was much much more sensible. |

They should just make a button in the station services menu and not on the neocom. |

CCP Zulu..... Forcing players to dock at the captain's quarters is a form of what we actually wanted to get through, which is making Incarna a seamless part of the EVE Online experience. |

It's live now so a bit late.
The problem is the relocation of the button from the neocon to a window in the UI. People revamp their UI's to custom layouts and the button will be covered in some situations (not might be - will be).
As such, not having the exit option on a ... "control panel" but in the main UI pane, it opens up confusion where to look as well as loss of access to that control when adjusting the UI. |
