Hmm the official message about today's downtime from CCP makes it sound like they INTENDED to have the dowtime earlier becuase of techincal difficulties.....COME ON!!!!
Things fell over big time - CCP decided to run that into their downtime....then they have the cheek to release a statement that makes it sound as if they MEANT to start the downtime early...
If that was the case, then why did you not give us a message saying that the servers would be going down in say 5mins....instead of just pulling the damn plug....
If you have a problem, at least be honest...

the downtime msg is an Auto Msg!
apears wen its say 10:45 GMT sayin itl go down in 15 mins then CCP shut the servers down at around 11:05 GMT(given time for players to log)

I know that, but if they were planning on taking the servers down early they should have given us warning, instead of just pulling the plug...
and then making it sound like the MEANT to take the servers down early...when in reality they just fell over...and they then decided to roll in into the downtime....

Killer, that message did NOT make it sound like they meant to do that. The bloody nodes were crashing like crazy.
So, instead of rebooting the clusters till NORMAL DT, they decided it was close enough to do early.
And with nodes dieing like they were, they had no chance to properly warn online players.
It ain't over till the fat lady falls on ya!

This thread isn't constructive at all. You seem to be a bit angry, take a deep breath and relax. I think you simply misunderstood what happened. You don't want to get too high blood pressure, that's bad for your health.
