The Corp:
Eve Defence Force is a Military Pirate Hunting corp with a clear chain of command covering all timezones. Built around the belief in balance, Eve Defence Force acomplishes its goals through three Divisions:
Eve Defence Logistics: Responsible for mining, manufacturing and research.
Want to get rich while creating the tools to help defeat Piracy? Eve Defence Logistics Miners and Haulers will be paid by the hour. Split between Empire and Frontier (0.0) Operations. One day you may even end up flying one of our Freighters.
General Operations: responsible for organising EDF Agent Runners, allocation and training of personnel and Sales.
Agent Runners: Responsible for the procurement of Impants and Tech 2 Blueprints.
Agent running solo can be a lonely life. Eve Defence Operations encourages its Agent Runners to participate in group missions. We also encourage you to start your own R&D project and offer you a choice between two routes.
Eve Defence Sales: Responsible for trading and sales of blueprints, ships, ammo, modules, and weapons.
If you're a trader as part of our Merchant Fleet, Eve Defence Sales will fund your efforts allowing you to take a cut of the profits thus increasing the amount you make in a deal. Members of the Merchant Fleet are also responsible for delivery of items to our clients or our sales office.
Academy: Responsible for training personnel in their chosen field.
If you're new to Eve and wish to develop your skills in a safe and friendly atmosphere, then Eve Defence Force's Academy is the place for you. When you join, you'll be given all the learning skills plus associated skills needed to start you off on your carer, a ship best suited for your profession as well as a helping hand from our instructors. Upon graduation, you'll be transferred to the Division of your choice.
Corporate Fleet Division:
Legions: Responsible for hunting Pirates and other Combat activities.
If PvP combat is your thing, then our Pirate Hunting Legions are for you. Our Legionarys are required to be able to pilot a variety of ships from Friagates to Dreadnaughts and show competence within their chosen class.
If you prefer running Complexes, join our dedicated team of Complex farmers and help yourself and your corp become rich.
Covert Operations: Responsible for Intelligence gathering, Counter Intelligence, Infriltration and Black Ops
Extraordinarii
An Elite team with access to top technology in return for participating in some of the most dangerous missions our PvPers can undertake. To be part of this unit, you have to be the best of the best.
All members recieve a benefits package that increases with your rank.

The Rules:
- All members need to have a minimum forum participation. Don't expect you to post every day but due to our size and our members ranging from accross the globe, it's easier to organise events via the forum. Failure to do so gets you kicked from the corp (unless you're absent from Eve, of course).
- PvPers need to use Voice Comms. We use Teamspeak. No TS, no PvP.
- All Miners and Haulers need to particpate in a minimum of three corp events per week. During these ops you're paid by the hour. Any other time is yours to do with as you wish. If you choose to mine, corp will by your minerals.
- Agent Runners need to work together. Not always but there will be times when people organise group missions. We expect you to participate if you're on.
- No smacktalking. I couldn't give a toss if you're a noob or a vet. A miner or a hardcore PvPer. You smack talk, you're on strike one. Come Strike three, you're kicked.
- You need to go absent from Eve? Tell someone, we'll work aroud it. If you go AWOL for 30 days, you're out of the corp.
- Teamplay. All members are required to be team orientated. That's both in groups within your division as well as corp wide events. If that doesn't interest you, you don't interest us.
If you cannot follow the above common sense rules then don't even bother applying. We're here to make Eve as fun as you can get. If being alone and doing your own thing when you want is your idea of fun, EDF's not for you. Look elsewhere.

The Requirements:
These are updated depending upon our needs and the balance within the corp:
Europeans:
- Miners:Must be able to operate in 0.0 space
- PvPers got to be able to fly an Interceptor, Covert Ops, Assualt Frigate, HAC or BS
- Agent Runners must have a Level 3 agent and be on the verge of Level 4
- Traders and Haulers must be able to fly Hoarder, Badger II, Bestower or Iteron V
North American's - East Coast and Central/Mountain:
- Miners:Must be able to fly a medium Barge as minnimum
- PvPers got to be able to fly an Interceptor, Covert Ops, Assualt Frig or Battleship
- Agent Runners must have a Level 3
- Traders and Haulers must be able to fly Hoarder, Badger II, Bestower or Iteron V
North America - West Coast:
- Miners:Must be able to fly a Cruiser as minimum
- PvPers got to be able to fly an Interceptor, Covert Ops or Battle Cruiser upwards.
- Agent Runners must have a Level 2 agent and be on the verge of a level
- Traders and Haulers must be able to fly Hoarder, Badger II, Bestower or Iteron IV
South Pacific (Oz, NZ, Singapore etc.):
- Miners:Must be able to fly a Cruiser upwards
- PvPers got to be able to fly a Cruiser upwards
- Agent Runners may have any level Agent
- Traders and Haulers must be able to fly Hoarder, Badger, Bestower or Iteron III

Also, freindly reminder - Stop Mailing me about recruitment. Between Alliance, Corp, Private mails, not to mention running the corp, I'm trying to play Eve, I'm still getting people ignoring my wishes. I'm not being unfriendly nor arrogant, I'm simply unable to play Eve if I have to answer 30 mails. You know where our forums are, post there. Mail me about recruitment and it is deleted. Same goes for our recruiters and Directors.

Looking for experienced South Pacific PvPers and Miners (preferably) who are willing to operate flexibly in a variety of ships, dependant upon the situation with a strong focus on teamwork.
I say preferably because we will take inexeperienced pilots.

What you have to take into account is that if I could guarantee to recruit the right kind of member, there'd be no need for rules. Unfortnately, life is rarely that simple so those rules are there to make sure no one joins us thinking we're a freelance corp.

After decent PvPers with expereince and skills to use Interceptors and Assualt Frigs. From the moment you sign on, you'll be sent to the staging area for our current operations and sent into combat immediately.
