I think that any copy that already exists will be able to make an infinite amount of copies from, its just any bp copied *after* the patch that will have a limited amount of production. Ceo Aquitaine Space Conglomerate |

I surely hope this will not be the case, but that the current copies will be fixed too. --- soonÖ |

Thats not what was stated in the dev blog. It said existing copies would be set to the max no of copies for that BP type.
Once again, the nerf bat starts swinging away. While it is true that copies basically reduced the value of originals, making 10 the max on a battleship copy is ludicrous. Why would anyone spend 6 days making a copy that can only produce 10 items? I could see 100 or even 50, but 10 is just way too little.

Changes like this should be grandfathered into the game. So existing copies do not become worthless.

How can you say the bp copies ar worthless. Corps that have made copies with there Bps whether to sell our keep have done so at a cost of around 35 million isk in minerlas each. If they bought say a scorp Bp copy at 200 million,, then them making seven for themselves would have them breaking even. If they sold them then they are diectly getting costs back. Add to that the tons of Bps that have simply been traded to other corps for Bps at no isk cost except for tieing a lab up. And after patch the Bps will still be able to make 10 more each. How have they not still made out. They will still save a few hundred million more on costs if they are building for themselves. The only reason costs on ships are so low right now is because of how many Bps there are. When the first corps bought originals and started producing you couldnt find a scorp say for under 80 million isk or Minerals + 40 million. And I ve seen ones bought and sold for way above both these prices. Theres a Raven on the market in Loentrek for 300 million isk, Why so hi,, because others dont have BP copies at the moment. People who are trying to make money off copies are killing there own chances to make even more money on the ships themselves. I would Rather sell 10 ships at minerals +40 million isk then one BP for 200 million isk. My factory is tied up less. Mass production works and I can research my mineral efficencies on my bps.
