Recent situation in PA is that currently ATUK has POS in Venal however not any real battles as such. Gank fleets and just a lot of blobbing up either side of a gate, then going home from what ive heard.

hmmmm well, JF and Omerta went hostile to PA after PA gangbanged Xelas with their mates right? Only things got complicated when PA triggered their mutual defence pact with IRON and FE and G and all sorts of other little alliances we'd never heard of. Suddenly we had about 100 new hostiles that started shooting at us on the PA's behalf in Pureblind on the way to Venal and we decided we'd be better off shooting them back rather than turning a blind eye so to speak.
Anyhow we spent a month of so shooting at people that shot us in PB and asking them exactly why they were so keen to fight on behalf of the PA (who we wanted to fight on another issue entirely).
In the end G and IRON annouced they were going independent and would no longer be fighting PA's battles for them and so we started tidying up the standings and trying to get back to the business of shooting the people we wanted to be shooting in the first place.
Unfortunately the bush telegraph in PB isn't that great and there are still lots of people who jumped on the bandwagon first time around shooting at us for reasons they don't fully understand.
Still, I did get to go back to Venal for the first time in ages yesterday and had some fun and games chasing gurrista-hunting PA members about until I finally got caught and lost my beloved Ishtar to LukeC of Freedom Confederation (PA) and one of his Raven flying wingmen :(
So thats the north from my perspective anyhow.

i keep flying through IRON and G space, their pretty good at defending tbh, usually i can't hang around for long, only kill i've got is a guy in a newbie corp (osprey)

piracy is only an issue in pureblind (due to its proximity to secure space and thus equipment). by piracy, I mean corps unaligned to alliances in general.

PA are "practicing" their scouting skills in Battleships by warping to moons in Venal at 100km. One might think this is a safe distance, but sometimes its not enough. Having witnessed these attempts firsthand, the results are not encouraging.
We hope that some of PA's more experienced members teach the rest of the alliance about the great use/magic of the "Scanner" buttom. We hate getting our kills stolen by a greedy POS. We prefer a more close up battles.

The north? Well, it looks like NBSI is hangin cool up there, threatening ASCN from across the galaxy all the time. The eastern side is a mess. PA is doing whatever PA does, i think thats trying to avoid atuk gank squads. IRON and G are sitting peachy keen, playing in our Pure Blind sandbox with the upstart bullies like DIE and Doom.
