Ye, but I'm not complaining...
So far I have been podded 6 times in my 56 days of playing; that means I have been podded about every 9.3 days.
I have been podded by
> G Alliance
> Stain Empire
> FIX and
> Veritas Immortalis.
I will likely be podded again today.
So, what I am asking here is how many times have you been Podded? LetÆs see who's used the most clones... Why, because I have a long trip to 0.0 space to go on my adventures again.

First off, kudos for having the guts 56 days into the game to be out in 0.0 putting yourself in harms way. Fun, ain't it? :)
Second, I've been podded twice. Only once due to a stupid move on my part. :)

twice for me also once about 2 years ago and then again recently by supposed good guys gate camping providence .........was my own fault had waited over 2 days for the camp to hopefully go away but then had no choice as i was carrying much needed pos fuel......still tryin to track down the last few implants i had fitted now lol

Twice, both in Pure Blind. First when I was in 21st Ghsts and got nabbed by Zarquon Beeblebrox of the teddies. Second was as part of JF when i hit the wrong key-combo on my board and undocked straight into an enemy fleet who had me dead and podded before I could get away.
I know some people who have podded a LOT more though  (withholding names though).

Rod has yet to be podded by a hostile pilot.
I do like clonejumping tho, so i've used my share of clones in the last two years.

i "clonejumped" once with no implants due to extreme laziness on my part. Long travel was starting to bug me more than mining. On the positive side, the mail you get when doing this is hillarious and if you have an up-to-date cheap clone i advise trying it once. 
When missiles still did splash across the timespace continuum i was podded by a rupture firing cruise missiles. I was in a vigil. One should probably not enter combat if one's last thought before doing so is "let's just see what happens."
I know i've been whacked once or twice more in small fleet actions but i don't remember the details, i just know i've activated more than two clones... i'd guess 4 times all told or so?

Only twice - by Woetra and in the Zombie attack on Yulai (got my ship/implants back though).
In the early days I used to clone-jump but it's now a bit too expensive to do that (plus I have shedloads of implants in my head).

7 or 8 in combat, and of those I would ascribe at least 5 to be the result of ship destruction lag. You're targeted even before your ship is dead (to you) and scrambled. I would love to know how all of those 'I've only been podded once' yokels manage to get away from a dying ship (unless they eject or never face tackling frigs with insane locktimes I would call a big BULL**** on their claims).
Tho... In a 5v5 engagement last night 4 of the enemy ships were destroyed and all 4 pods managed to get away before being tackled... Where was their lag?
Getting podded is a major annoyance when you have the experience and skill to get away... but can't because of lag. But it's a part of the game... if you're going to enjoy combat, don't worry about it and keep the clone updated.

Twice, but with ship destruction lag beeing as extreme as it is these days i expect that number to rise significantly before it is fixed.

Been podded probably 4-5 times in 8 months...
Most of those times are recently due to the ship blowing up lag and cannot warp.

I was not podded my first year or so of playing nor ever clone jumped, but then again i was a carebear.
Now when I go into battle, if I lose my ship I lose my pod, most of time on purpose (Don't like traveling) other times well, I just sucked and they got me.
I can't fully answer you question with a number though, because I don't think anyone can count that high, and if you add in my clone jumps, lol, never mind.

5 times, once by Concord to see what it was like and 4 times in 30 minutes by those STINKING ROTTEN GATE CAMPERS!!!!!! Just kidding, their cool, it was a blast thow, I was training my real life skills with them, the HARD WAY!!!

I've been podded once after loosing an inty fight by the skin of my teeth (my Crusader vs a Blasteranis) and getting totally lagged out.

Podded twice in my eve life.
Once to mo0 back when Carbide was in Fountain Alliance and I went into the choke point, got my rupture blown up, but the pod escaped. I initiated self-destruct cause I was just as good as dead.
2nd time was maybe... early this year to several Celtic frigates and assaults. In that occasion I had a full set of +3 implants. You live and learn =)

Oh, if i exclude the times I have wanted to be podded - when I'm 30+ jumps from home, in 0.0 space, I have only been pod killed 3 times. The other 3 thimes I asked for it

3 times.
1. to clone jump
2. accdentaly fell asleap when set auto pilot to DEEP 0.0 and was in a shuttle.. donno why i did it but it seemd a good idea at the time, this was my first death :/
3. warped into a bubble after a JACKASS told me instas went right through bubbles.
Ill never forgive him >< now someones sexing up my corpse :(
