Check the Dust/Eve connection video from 3 weeks ago for that answer. In short, when Dust gets planetary conquest, you will be able to get bonuses if you are doing PI on the temperate planets your corp/alliance controls, and POSs will get manufacturing and fuel efficiency bonuses (as yet unspecified amounts) if you share the same system. |

When are you going to tell us detailed information about how DUST and EVE will influence each other. I'm not interested in future vision wishful thinking answers about what might be happening at some point in the future. I want to know what you actually have ready right now and how it interacts with EVE. |

Well...if you aren't interested in hearing the people working on these projects talk about what they're planning and thinking then maybe these aren't exactly what you are looking for :). We'll reveal what we can but obviously the next major reveals are coming through during Fanfest presentations and in general we won't concretely nail down things that aren't ready to announce.
But like we talked about in the broadcast we believe in this method of keeping our community involved in our thinking and planning process but I totally get that not everybody is looking for that level of engagement. CCP Guard | EVE Community Developer |-á@ccp_guard |

Well, talking about engagement... if you're not going to answer because-of-fanfest, what's the point to talk about the issue? "Buy HD Stream, watch fanfest" is not worth attending to an hour of videocast.
Maybe after Fanfest these casts are a bit more beefy, but so far they kinda fizzled.
Also as a general note, video is more demanding of language skills than text, and live video is the most demanding media. So, in case you said something relevant in live video, it would be lost to more players than if you said it on recorded video, and would be lost to way more people than if you said it in a written format. Thus, either you don't say anything relevant on live video, so why bother attending it, or you repeat valuable info so many times that there's no point to bother with a live cast.

CCP Guard keep up the good work! I, for one, like to see the "high concept" vision of where you guys want to take the New Eden franchise!
I think your interviews are informative, and you are funny and quirky! <3
Looking forward to seeing what's revealed at Fanfest!

Missed the live, watching now...
WTF? Not only yare doing it in the hallway, but some ppl doesn't have a seat?
Well, of course i don't mind if CCP are not spending too much money for the Dust
But yes, CCP Guard doing awesome videos in 2007 i've thought it's a sci-fi simulator, not an "e-sports" game. I'm not a teenager, how would i like it much? [-á-¦-¦-Ç-â-é-+-+-¦] -£-¦-¦-+-+-+-¦ -¦-+-Ç-+-+-Ç-¦-å-+-Å Transtellar |

I'm saying all I've heard from you so far is talk and big plans, but you've delivered little and certainly nothing to actually make me go WOW. Maybe it's amazing from a game developer's or engineer's point of view, but the results from an EVE gamers point of view have been meh/nothing. I want to know if this is because you have nothing worth talking about ready or you've just decided to hold back on all the features, that might make this whole game relevant to us.
The reason I'm asking for details is because we've all heard the vision you have for both games and very often non of that ever materializes in reality. At least not in ways you visioned it. This is why I want to know what you actually have to show for all the work and resources you've poured to the project and I'm not really interested in hearing repeats of what might some day be. It's not a bad thing to have that vision and I'm not saying it's a bad idea to try to sell it at every opportunity, but what we, we as in EVE players, currently lack is details about concrete game mechanics that have real relevance to us. |

What do you want? As far as I know it's still in Beta. You want to know how it currently works, but don't want to hear how it's supposed to work once it's fully released? |
