What's the rest of this story then?
"There has been an Internal Affairs investigation of an CCP employee. The infractions found are serious. Please refrain from any public communication and communication with CCP employees for the remainder of the day while we discuss the matter with the person in question. The details will be disclosed with the CSM as soon as have discussed the matter with the employee."

i thought it was pretty widely known, and accepted that for years ccp have helped out alliances like goons |

But I'm wondering if it's something else as it may not even be related to in game but only CCP know and I doubt they will be telling the CSM now that first part was leaked..... unless they already have?
CCP clear this up for us.

That being said, the reason for the creation of the CSM was that incidents like this get passed onto the players... I'm surprised it wasn't.

This is just something that will no doubt be a huge and massive effect on EVE due to an unceasing torrent of threads and ingame actions, when all that happened was some one probably had some orders on rigs and rig parts when the capital rig thread got announced. |

from what i recall from D3 thread in Jita Park is that he suggested that a ccp dev was cherry picking threw private chat logs of some alliance leader who was doing strategic planning and then informed his ingame allies of said plans...
So i think a dev played the meta game but broke eula because it was not done ingame but inhouse and with dev tools not player ones...

Unless he fleshed it out further in the thread and it got buried, all that he said was that CCP intercepts/monitors in game communications. If there was a reference to passing it on to interested players I must have missed it.
We already knew that CCP can see everything that happens in their game, it would be stupid for them NOT to be able to.
To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors.
If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |
