This is not directed towards anyone, so take it as you will:
Unless you've ever tried to run or be part of a serious Merc outfit, you have no ground to stand on when it comes to flaming Eddz or the core fighters of KIA. Being the CEO or a long time member of a dedicated merc corp is one of the hardest jobs in the game.
Just look at the number of "merc corps" who have come and gone. There are very few who have stood the test of time and stayed true to the path. From the top on down, KIA was a shining example of how to do things right.
Major kudos to Eddz for doing what he always does: come out and honestly tell the community what the deal is.
Eddz, myself and the MC wish you nothing but the best. Hopefully you can get things back on track. If there is anything I can do to help, don't hesitate to ask.

Kudos to KIA for being good sports :)
I was hoping, praying and expecting an attack from the famous KIA Dreadnaughts. We wanted to test defence for a change and drilled and prepared a lot for it.
Well I shall continue to hope that one day someone else tests our defences. :)

And don't forget that in every "organization", there are times when the s*hit hits the fence. Those are the times when ppl show their REAL characters. That happens in eve and RL too.
Try to make the best of it  .

Props to KIA for taking the contract in the first place.
That was a brave move, which may not have paid off in the end, but man it was balsy.
KIA put up some good fights, and kept trying.
I hope Imperium don't start smacking KIA, because they could learn a thing or two from them.
Well done KIA.
Oh EddZ ... I hope things come together for KIA soon ... and I hope you guys still managed to make some ISK out of the whole thing, you deserve it.

My view of this contract:
We have most of our people in 0.0 space, and anyone in empire space treats it as 0.0 when an empire war is active.
That means to either travel in a fast ship, use a scout in anything bigger or move in groups (again with good scouting).
That is why losses on our side were kept to a minimum and pretty much all of them were due to (consensual) PvP engagements.
KIA are not new players either, they have some good PvPers. |

The problem with looking at kill-mails is that they make all fleet kills look like ganks.
Everyone is working on taking down the enemy one ship at a time, so the mail shows one ship killed with lots of parties involved. This gives the impression that the ship was alone, no matter what size fleet it was part of.

Darth, c'mon man, as a pvp outfit you KNOW that, if you get ganked, you made a mistake and deserved it. You also know that it is quite within the realms of possibility that any force that engages another, with equal numbers but literally ZERO support, isn't going to be able to hold the enemy down and is gonna die in droves because they can warp out.
Don't let your personal opinion of BoB cloud your perception of things that happened, you're better than that.

It's just a shame this all blew up when we were taking on such a big contract and is really crappy timing.
Sorry I couldn't be there you help you guys, but picking flowers and killing dragons is a full time job :(
KIA seem to have these mishaps occur at least once a year, and we've come this far so I'm sure EddZ will sort it out.

shame to hear KIA 
I was in most of the engagements with KIA and the smack free local was a refreshing change from some encounters i have been in on. I hope you guys get it sorted, and thanks for the fun in the skirmishes we had.
Hope to see you guys back and contracting again when the time is right. I went and picked flowers for about 5 months in WoW, but then the game runs a touch dry, and the call of EVE will happen again  . GL in any of your gaming adventures.

As both bob and KIA keeps a complete both kill & loss board you can look on either one of them.
The bob one is pretty crowded so it's easier to look at KIAs.
