I would like to play but my implants cost too much and a alt-noob will not have the skills to get very far.

As an actual noob who started playing yesterday afternoon, I am definately in! Since I only have the original ship and the original guns its probably the only fight I can manage where I wont be entirely, completely and totally outclassed!!

The idea is too good to be passed over and now belongs to the community.
I hereby volunteer to step up and organize the GankFest 2006 until Ms. Spitfire returns from the depths of space and wishes to reclaim her initiative.
I would have rather been a participant. I knowingly forfeit a massive gank of fun in exhange for a bunch of responsibility so that a Gankfest of Pilots may have a blast.
Today I will review the entire thread.
Tomorrow I will post a summary and begin contacting all interested parties.
Once a suitable venue is located, a date will be set.

I would like to discuss the participation of some total canon fodder for this event, to really give you all something to shoot at, depending on the event time and date there would be a large number of lemmings willing to die for nothing more than the amuzement of doing so.
Our last outing numbered 47 various lemmings and since then there have been many more registering their interest. If an organiser could make contact in game details could be discussed

sounds fun having an all out nub ship fight i will join in me thinks as long as my schedual permits ill let my fellow corp made know about it too. I was thinking maby setting up two teams for this event if you can and then maby doa series of events on teh system and what not.

Sorry to everyone for unable to manage this properly. Got too many things going on at one time, both in EvE and in RL. I will see how it goes and if I am much avail in RL, will try help in organising it better.
What I did:
1. Did ask around -V- for a deadend system but everyone was a bit busy so, cant find a proper system nor bouncing service to have this event.
2. Problem is to find an alliance that is not totally at war/busy currently to help to provide bouncing service.
Sorry again to everyone for the delay. Will try to contact Cyriel soon to help him host this event.
Some ROE that I thought of:
1. FFA arena (within a system).
2. No using safespots (because of wasting time and no chance to find using noobships). Only sun, planets, belts and moons warping to are allowed.
3. Last person standing. 30 mins knockout before last bell (end of fest).
4. Only 1 entry per person, no coming back with more ships.
5. No podding.
6. No killing/podding hostiles or war targets.
Feel free to improve the ideas above.

I'm intersting in participating, sounds like a good safe way of trying out PvP in EVE for us less experienced. However, until i know when it is, I can't say if I'll be able to make it or not

If you want to get newbs/vets to -10.0... sure but we want to try to prevent that.
