The killboards count different things as well. Killboards include every kill that one of your corp members was on. I beleive, the api being used here, only counts it if your corp delivered the final blow. Also the killboard will include kills when your corp was not in faction war and the api wont. What I don't know is if the api includes kills against non-fw pilots. So if qcats kills a neutral and gets the final blow is that counted? They only count final blows on FW targets which most people do not realize, hence some confusion. It's not perfect but it's the only metric we have besides BC rating, total kills and isk efficiency. BTW those are; #14, 59.676 and 84.82% all fairly bad ass. And since the EPIC Ashen joined we have been #1 on BC for recent activity (was typically #3 or #4 before). This achievement was only possible due to our primary focus on FW for the past 5+ years. Killing squids is what we do. Our members would rather fight a frig gang solo in their destroyer then get cap /shiney kills with 30 other guys. We love our small ship pvp. But their totals were close for a long time. If you added up Wolfy + Bi-Po + SoTF then it would be a different story, but total kills (total final blows on FW targets to be exact) is also about productivity over a long period of time. +1 to QCATS and SOTF.

Metrics are nice but consider the intangible contributions that organizations such as QCATS, SOTF, WOLFS and whoever else has made to FW and lowsec in general. Intangibles such as great storylines, incredible FCs, epic fights making it to 3rd party news sites, mentors, and drama threads. These cannot be measured but they do live on in militia lore and greater New Eden High Five. Yeah! C'est La Eve .

No offence taken. But even while SOTF were in militia we had overtaken them in both kills and FW kills. However, SOTF are well ahead of us in ISK destroyed - their primary focus shifted to BS/capital warfare a while ago. As a final note, the api stats don't reset when you leave militia. QCATS has been in and out of militia a few times to join the Minmatar militia.
