Well, dude, you answered your own question....

Why don't more people go to 0.0? Because of gate-campers such as yourself. Being almost assured of not only losing our ships but being podded as soon as we come out of warp is not exactly an incentive for going there.

Does this make me a wimp? Perhaps, but I consider it to be plain common sense - there is no reason to rush to your death for no purpose

i did a test to see if players wish others to fly in to 0.0 and i made 2 New Player ALT's .
1 ALT was podded more then 50 times.
the other ALT was told not to go in to any 0.0 or it will be podded and it was in a shuttle.
And to make it even more funny the one group that podded the one char over 50 times told me i was griefing them and making them sad to have to pod the ALT so many times.
So tell me why is any one going to bother with mining or even selling items in 0.0 there is no profit in it unless you have a web site with a kill list.
like that is a new one. Shocked

The big illusion in Eve Crying or Very sad

Claimed By alliance, large part of the system are totally unusable by player.

Some system never see anyone for long time. But if you try to go, stay for a while and see group of person hurry to got a target.

0.0 need some station. Need that alliance change the way they think about people going to work in 0.0
Actually there's only alliance of foe. For some only Target

It's not the way making empire less attractive. Just make 0.0 reachable and attractive

LOW sec space is open and with the ability to build POS and outpost it's even more so. You jsut have to realise that even though you want into low sec space, most alliances don't want YOU there. They want to covet the rare ores and potentially rich NPC spawns and complex's to themselves so it doesn't become like empire where you can never do a complex because it has already been done or you can't mine because anti PvP allainces come through and strip mine every useful mining system.

And I don't understand your opinion of risk vs reward. I was recently broke. I mean BROKE! I built my battleship and barely insured it. Then I had to buy t1 425mm rail guns. By the end of the day I had 45 mil in my wallet from NPCing in 0.0 by myself and replaced my t2 425mm rails and I'm ready to get killed again.

Rewards and ISK are always available depending on weather you know where to look or not.

Plus, some people have a lifestyle. Those that don't like mining or npcing or PvP do missions in hopes of getting a faction battleship. They choose empire because it's SAFER and they are too cheap to risk thier pixels. Just because people don't see what's really available in 0.0 doesn't mean enough isn't offered. There are pirate agents in 0.0 and have the same missions as empire, if you want every faction to hate you,and there's mining (yet larger NPC), and there are complex (again larger NPC). In essence, what you have is people who want to go out "there" but don't want to team together to do so and don't want to risk losing anything. With gain comes risk.

And as for 0.0 entrances, I snuck safely into great wildlands, errected a large POS by myself, mined mercoxit for 4 weeks, replaced the isk I spent on the pos, bought 3 BS, and still had 300mil in my pocket. There is plenty of reward if you are willing to take the risk. Didn I mention that during that time the local allaince shot down 2 of my megathrons and podded my alt with a full head of implant? Well it happened and I was still rich when I left.

Open your eyes and stop sniveling jsut because you're not willing to take a risk, and therefore blame CCP. All in all your post simply indicates that you are ****ed off because your agent system is over crowded and you were hoping people would leave it.

Did I mention you can get into Great Wildlands by jumping through 8 low security empire systems? Just 8!! It takes 21 to get to Fountain where my Allaince currently resides and the whole way is camped by pirates and low space pvp enemys.

You guys don't realize how unbalanced this would be. Thank god CCP is adding a signature radius mondule rather than reducing barge signature. You want the game to be nerfed so miners have an advantage of PvPers. That's jsut not logical.

And you said every nerf makes people want to quit. The day a mining barge can get away from my megathron that has 2 sensor booster II is the day I quit.

As for you PAYING an allaince, you're jsut a sucker whos shaming the rest of 0.0 explorers. It's free space, I'd take my chances and feel better about outwitting them than paying them to let me in.Evil or Very Mad

I always wonder at these "omg atll ze gates are c4mped 23/7" posts.

What gates do you use ffs ?

I live around fountain and delve mostly, sometimes in synidcate and outer ring. And tbh, except for pf-346 there is no route into the southwest of the map that is camped more then an hour or two once every few days.

Do you all live in lonetrek and try to get out through ec-p or what ?

EVE is a PvP game. Everyone who bought a subscription on day one was sold on this being a total PvP game. Whether it's fighting over space, resources, or market control, there would always be a player versus player element.

Agent missions in CONCORD space add NOTHING to the player versus player element. You can become rich and powerful, with all of the best gear, by doing nothing but deadspace agents. You NEVER have to talk to another player, nor will you ever face any sort of competition. This is fine when you are starting out and learning the game.

But when you can spawn on-demand deadspace battleship comlexes that help you earn faction battleships in CONCORD protected space, with absolutely NO KIND of player versus player element possible, that is going way too far. When a complete PvE aspect of the game becomes more practical and profitable than all the other PvP aspects, then EVE is nothing more than World Of Warcraft in space.

Agent missions are the most unbalanced moneymaker in this game. All of the agent hubs are being camped so hard that CCP has to spread them out in order to fix all the cluster******* that is going on. If that is not a blaring siren to the problem, I don't know what else will convince you.

Are there any 5/10 or 6/10 complexes in CONCORD space? What would people say if CCP moved all the 6/10 complexes into .5 sec and up?

Umm where in PvP can I loot a Faction Battleship? Where in PVP can I get rich? Where in PVP can I stand alone and win? Where in PVP can I see a gain in security status for myself instead of losses?

Theres alot about PVP that says 'keep out' to me. Its not that I don't want to try it out, I am unwilling to risk all that I have on a little fun, or otherwise desire to grief others just for some personal excitement. If my perception of fun potential were to increase significantly, I would re-evaluate the decition to not participate. Theres nothing in 0.0 space for me that I know of, worth getting ganked by a bored camper on the way.

I would ask only this...

Entice me to 0.0.

What do I need to do in 0.0 that I cannot do in empire space?

I enjoy PvP. I really do. I engage in PvP everyday. I make millions in PvP. Yet I never fire a shot. PvP for me is outwitting all my economic competetors, making alliances with some, trading with others and blatantly economically destroying others. This is fun for me. PvP for me doenst require that I blow crap up everyday to say I play eve. I find the sheer interaction ability of the economics alone to be very satisfying.

Not to detract from the itchy trigger fingers out there but at over 20mil sps I cannot do a level 3 mission alone. I suck at combat. I excel at deeper warfare and invested heavily in it. Am I a carebear? I donno whats a care bear? Living the "safelife" in empire? What is a loss to someone? Losing economics? IMHO thats all its really about, combat PvPers can lose equipment and get killed, economic PvPers lose isks and plenty of it.

For example I did a hefty investment prior to Cold War, which is now almost worthless, do I blame CCP no I dont. Content changes will always happen but IMHO CCP failed to deliver the promised 30+ "new routes" to wildspace. Do I care? No not really since it had little to no impact on my version of PvP. The biggest hurts to my PvP was inclusion of zyd into roids in jaspet. As it made my purchasing modeling and investements prior to exodus tank out a bit. Did I recover yes of course I did.

So what would make me want to go to 0.0? The only stuff in 0.0 that I would get in my PvP experience in EVE is combat, mining is mining, doesnt bother me what rock the drill is on. U dig U haul U refine and finally U enter the market with the ores/minerals/constructs. Only thing is the rocks are worth more. Why well that is obvious, to get ppl to go to 0.0. Well based upon the populations who inhabit 0.0 vs empire at any given time show conclusively that ALOT of ppl dont think expensive roids are worth the risk, nor do they think the combat is worth the risk, nor do they think the high risk complexes are worth the risk, nor do they think the high end ratting is worth the risk, nor do they think POS ownership is worth the risk, nor..... (ad nausium).

What I normally see from these types of threads is this...

Carebear - I need safer ways to 0.0, and dont care for PvP combat as most of my skills have nothing to do with combat, or give me more mega and zyd ability in empire.

Griefer - I need more ppl in 0.0 and less rewards in empire, I excel at PvP combat and do it on a regular basis why cant you do the same.

In short IMHO 0.0 is a different game than empire. Those that want PvP combat dont mind 0.0, those that want non-combat PvP, and combat PvE like empire. The population EVERY STINKIN DAY shows that empire players vastly out number wildspace players.

If anything CCP should expand empire and reduce wildspace since the vast majority of the player base doenst seem to want it anyways.

Ok enough nagging now here comes the real question. Other than more gates, what do you people require to be enticed into 0.0?

Here's what you have:
+Agents with cooler faction stuff
+Rare and exotic ores that make you rich
+Crazy complexes where you can get rich (- or die trying)
+Great bounty NPC, with possibility of faction loot and super rare tags for mega bucks
-A bunch of people saying stay out or die, and they mean it
+Moons with rarer elements that can be combined to make t2 products
+The possibility to make your own outpost
+The possibility to shoot anyone you want and only the players can try to stop you
-A bunch of guys who occasionally camp a gate when they know a bad guy is inbound or when they know you're where you aren't supposed to be

What else do you need?

Actually, Economic Warfare is much more powerful than any Combat PvP Ubership ever could be. So you have a huge carebear corp that owns a HUGE chunk of 0.0 and mines and produces everything under the sun. If little old me that can't solo a lvl 3 agent mission convinces all you're major partners not to buy your products anymore, where does that leave the big corp? Where will the gankers get their equipment? I'm not downplaying the validity of anyones chosen style of play, but the fact is that unless you want to participate in PvP COMBAT, 0.0 is simply a good way to lose a crap-ton of isk. My suggestion? Split the galaxy into quadrants. Put a major empire in each corner. 0.0 in the middle and around the outside. Make travel between the empires dangerous. What you'll end up with is a PLAYER run area of space in the middle. The center of the galaxy is the ideal place for anyone involved in anything non-combative. So make the players run it. Let the people that don't want to interact with other players stay in their corner, and the rest of us can fight over the ground in the middle. Even from an RP standpoint this makes sense. None of the empires are all THAT trusting of each other...if someone were to push a little, they might decide that the best way to keep their loyal citizens safe is to move farther away from everyone else, leaving a vacant sector for the alliances and mega-corps to fill. Maybe this is caused by some galactic plague that strikes every planet simultaneously, making the current worlds uninhabitable. Maybe it's just sheer distrust. This is what i think of when i hear the word "Exodus" anyway. Not the players leaving empire, but empire leaving behind the players. Let's face it, an exodus occurs so that a people can get away from something, not so that they can get something...that's called a gold rush.

Actually, Economic Warfare is much more powerful than any Combat PvP Ubership ever could be. So you have a huge carebear corp that owns a HUGE chunk of 0.0 and mines and produces everything under the sun. If little old me that can't solo a lvl 3 agent mission convinces all you're major partners not to buy your products anymore, where does that leave the big corp? i wonder why you ppl WANT others to come to 0.0? It seems you are all combatcrazy triggerhapy guntoting Neanderthals. When someone argues pv is more than just combat you ridicule that line of thought.
I can get rich enough as it is, for what it is worth, without entering 0.0 sace. So tell me, why do you want more ppl in 0.0 space? You have run out of clay targets? YOu want to shoot up ppl who are not that skilled in combat?

I just got me a destroyer, what is there for me in 0.0 worth risking my meager belongings?

This is the most rediculous thing I have EVER heard. I tell you what happens when you tell people to stop buying from a certain someone. They make.... MORE money. So as it is big sales HAC at 85mil and some other corps have beaten that. The waiting lists are months long. If people said screw you I'm not paying, you know what will happen? Same thing as when players buy from big and resale, you see a market where HAC are selling at 130 mil depending on availability. Of course if we could get away from the waiting lists we might be able to pay closer to manufacturing costs.

Back to the point, the thread is on opening 0.0, not that I really want that to happen. So what do you people need? Still no one asnwered the direct question.

You guys saying, "GO TO 0.0!", all you want is empire to yourself or you're too arrogant to ask allaince for initiation.
