This list pretty much sums it up. I'm not bitter, though the market manipulation to devalue ISK has had it's positive and negative effects. |

I wish that the Eve universe would be expanded about 10 times to give us back some of that sense of vast empty space. Right now everything is crowded. CCP Sreegs is my favorite developer. |

Not really sure what you're getting at here. The hyperion, maelstrom, rohk and abaddon were added much later.

Kind of empty. Buying cruisers blueprints were quite an investment and only a small minority could afford battleship blueprints.
You could bounce off of things. Stations, gates, ships. For a few days there was even a bug that made you super bounce hundred kilometers away even with the smallest nudge. Corp mate of mine ended up a couple of millions of AU away from everything.
Asteroids grew in size for every day they wasn't mined so in some distant systems you could find enormous sized rocks clipping both each other and warp in points.
Errormessagevaganza. 30-100 modal error messages on your screen and you had to click each and everyone before you could access the UI again.
Warping to a gate you didn't always land in a straight line to the gate. And with three micro warp drives on your ship it took quite some time to turn towards it.
Missiles hitting things on their way to the target. It was nice when you could hide from rats behind a large asteroid. It wasn't as much fun when you accidentally hit friends, cans, gates and stations. Sometimes even yourself since missiles fired forward, and with three micro warp drives on your ship it was faster than the missiles.

- Missiles significantly slower than frigates with MWD, but always doing their list damage to any target.
- Highways in space - IIRC it was two jumps from Pator to Yulai and then five more jumps to Amarr / Jita / Luminaire.

Flying from Amarr to Deklien took a big fleet of us 50 or so jumps up through backwater 0.0 systems (nickamed "the Back Passage") and it took a day to do, what with no jump Bridges and no Warp to Zero. It really felt like you were out in the wildlands as you did it, not 20 minutes from Highsec 1.0 as it is now.
Getting that adrenal buzz as you saw the system status read 0.0 for the first time. Everywhere felt new and unexplored...
Making my first 1Misk (NPC goods trading) with a Hoarder, mining in a frigate and stopping to look when an Apocalypse dropped into the belt right on top of me...
Heading out to 0.5 space and staring down the open maw of a Typhoon as it tried to both shoot and seemingly eat me at the same time...
