The skin of these ships are extreemly influnced by the Sun and angle that you view them at. Ithildin	Posted - 2005.10.12 20:16:00 - [17] I don't know if the federate issue Megathron (rarest ship in game as far as I know) looks the same as the navy issue. I do know that the Navy issue has the "reduced" model of a regular megathron (zoom out a bit and it stops being black, reverting to dull beige). Disappointing. -- Neat sig, huh? Theres the Vinidcator which looks exactly like a serp Mega (because it is) flat black with green lights. And theres the Navy/Federate Issue Megathron these two ships look the same (shiny black with a gold reflection and light blue/green lights) BUT ARE NOT. There is a HUGE difference between the Fed and a navy thron. There is only one Federate Issue Mega in the game and it has tons of extra CPU and PG on top of a Megathron in addition to a lowslot. The Navy thron looks the same but has the same pg/cpu as a Megathron. ¼_¼

Vindicator does have an agility multiplier 33% smaller than the other ships though, which makes it a lot more agile.

I'm 99.9% sure the vindi is a more matt black and has green lights, while the navy issue is a metallic black with blue-er lights. There, i just contributed nothing to your thread

Navy: Dark Matte Black, with a dark gold tint depending on the system star, sometimes can look almost blue or green, again, depending on the colour of the sun in that system. the federate issue is owned by DC i think, and i would love to see a screenie of that :)

myEpic2	Posted - 2006.02.17 14:51:00 - [28] i had the navy thron but sold it and bought a vindi.. which i still have and love the reason i went for vindi instead of navy thron is basicly because of the MWD bonus vindi gets, which is perfect for me as i am more of a blaster guy ;p the navy thron looks better though
