well, just got it (http://www.xmodca.ca/eve/frigates.htm)finished (the prototype that is) of what I hope to completely encompas the eve item database with. Its sortable by column titles, tell me.. is this idea worth it to continue?

Definitely worth finishing that project, one can never have too much info in EVE, knowledge is power after all.
A single worth of advice though, I'd seperate the ship model and race into two seperate columns.

Thanks for the advice, I think I will do that.
Any other suggesstions? Once I start adding all of the items, I wont go back and fix anything else :P

good job but i wonder if it's worth the effort because eve-i (when it will be back online) already do that (and i guess/hope they will have theyre data updated) and there is already some tool that do that too
Anyway thanks for trying to developp usefull tool for the Community

Change the header text colour. Blue on black is unreadable.

Also, not sure how hard this would be but it would be useful to make the "ship name" column fixed so that when you scroll right to see those stats you can still cross-ref to the ship name easily.
Also, I hope you check with CCP when you stole their banner graphic. Not saying they'd mind but if you haven't asked then you could be in trouble.

OK if you check it with IE www.xmodca.ca/eve/frigates.htm it will actually display the ships name when you roll over the row withthe mouse. Cool huh?

Mag propulsion column icon picture is wrong.
Is:

Should be:

Maybe also the capasitor capasity icon should be changed to this: Linkage or this: Linkage

This looks pretty close to my comparative tables. I have been adding more tables for other categories this past week (all guns for instance). I haven't done it for the ships yet, but this should come in the next few days.
As usual, if you want to get to other tables, click on my sig, enter the tranquility build and navigate to the category you want.

Wow very nice JIDE! I do not see much point to carry on this work   You have done a remarkable job with your item database   
How are we to access the comparision tables?

Ok well I think I will keep developing it as I need it.. just for a personal project. I've updated colors, and will add those icons you suggested Sable Moran.

When you browse to a category, if there's a comparison table available, then it's the first entry ("Comparative Chart") after "back to Top" and "..".

Very nice. Comparison tables is what I miss most about EVE-I's obj-explorer.
