I've been making a few runs into the Syndicate without much hassle but I just wondered who actually claims Syndicate and what corps should I watch out for while I'm cruising around. Thanks for the help.

lower cruiser is unclaimed, except for a few dead ends here and there (3rd front) and the ocasional pirates.
upper synd is a deathtrap.

lower west syndicate is pretty well filled with pirates. unclaimed, but still a place to avoid.

Actually, I claim syndicate. Anyone who wants a mining or hunting pass can send me 20mil/week to be added to the safelist. Make sure you evemail me too regarding the payment.

Syndicate is one of, if not THE, best mining spots in the game.
It's well worth defending.

Well people try to claim space in lower syndicate, but i believe that if a pirate force attacks one of these "alliances" at anytime of the day they would not be able to defend there own space. Usually they dont fight unless they massively out number the opposing force which takes coordination between their allied factions. Ie the ebil pirates have 15 BS, 3rd front have 15 BS, OSS have 15 BS but until the pirates allow OSS out of JQV constellation to meet up with 3rd front around JH system nothing happends.
The only way to survive in syndicate is nap with everyone u can and safe spot when the rest turn up.

LoL, well syndicate is better than providince but not much, the crokite is in four horsemen area. For that, beware the ninjalog snowball fleet! Mostly BOS has coordinated a large number of corps that work in syndicate for NAP. Aside from that its the group with the most firepower that has control until a more powerful group comes and kills them arrr

Syndicate as a region is unclaimable; much like Catch and Pure Blind. Too much traffic for someone to just own the whole thing.
Seperate constellations ofc are a different matter.
