Yeah seconded for Nature Vraie. Probably the best fanfic that I've read on EVE, with the Hamish series and the Works of Kerghans coming in close behind.

I don't know that 'best' could be applied to any of the better fiction. They aren't really directly comperable to eachother, just all excellent. David Weber's entire Honor Harrington series, books I-XI so far XII out in March or April '06, and the multitude of short stories it has spawned. Might give some future game development ideas about task force and fleet warfare templates, long range slugfest's between multiple capital ships and the geometry of that kind of mayhem.

Two shameless plugs here. (I was sure I posted them a while back but I mist not have hit submit before closing the window. God I'm such a noob)
First and foremost, I plug the We interupt this broadcast thread on the IGS. Mostly FU2 corp stuff about ingame activities in a story teller way and has a good deal of mini contributions from other minmatar and amarr roleplayers in the field.
Seccondly I plug my own Darius Shakor Saga. The links in the thread there go off forum to my own website where I now keep the stories in order since they are all scattered around the forum now with the passing of time. The thread in the link is for feedback only.
Ohh I have one more very old piece to link too. The first fiction work I read on the forums just before starting the game but remains one of my alltime favourites. Why I hate the news - By Khoon Sard

An older story thread that contains a nicely flowing story of a mercenary captains struggle againt pirates and terrorists. Unfortunately several postees attempted to troll adn hijack it but if you can ignore them long enough the story flows well i thought.

wel its maybe Selfadvertisement but i'm busy with a Project story. building up time wil be 2 month of daily posting parts.
the story is disigned to be long and have informative sides, horror, action and a exploration of the unknown history of eve. the whole story is written in the Me form. exept for the Side story's.

Hmm, missing a really important piece of work. Salvage by Shintoko Akahoshi is an excellent chronicle about what happens to pod pilot corpses when brought back to station.
