Forgive me, but I just can't find any official news topic or post from a CCP representative giving an update status about the CTD issue that's been going on since Sunday.
Can we get an update please? What you guys have found out, what you're doing to fix the issue, etc.?
(If the CCP has made an official statement on this, could I get a link, after which I'll gladly delete this thread)

Still haven't been able to find any official news item, post, or topic that explains the current server connectivity issues.

Has to be. A company buying hardware upgrades that expensive and raking in this much money from an MMO simply won't leave the office and the servers (remote control if not physically) alone.
