Go to your eve directory ( where you save your eve files) mine is located here: D:\CCP\EVE\bin
In the bin folder, click and run the eve exefile; should say that exact name. It has the old launcher. Works every time for me. Try it and see if it works. If so please plus 1 here and provide feedback.
Some noob programmer forgot a line of code...

You guys apparently aren't holding your tongue just right. Here is the process breakdown:
Hold tongue to the far left and up almost to your nose.
Stand on right foot only while keeping all toes except your biggest one on the ground (almost impossible)
put left hand on top of head and pat it like you would a small puppy
put right hand on stomach and rub in a circle like your belly is full from good food.
Think about puppies and unicorns prancing in a field of flowers and strawberries
Take a nap....
Wake up later and play.... |

Your launcher is crap and only good for players with ONE account.
So why you advert all the time buddy program and other "second account" if you not support of using more accounts at same time? I pay 2700 USD in a year for YOU CCP EVERY year, and I think ONLY on MY money you can pay few normal developers and not idiots, and I want for my money professional service and not just crap in all patches, especially when some idiots from CCP compleatly crash all good and worked thing and change them on new crap, and here I mean your crap launcher and crap reballance there you simply modify 8 years OLD ships and simply manipulate with ships bonuses and atribute and not create NEW ships with NEW bonuses. This database changes doesn't worth for me 2700 USD in a year !

any btw many people are online with the success of running the exefile in the bin folder of your ccp folder. try it and if it doesn't work oh well. They are working on the issue. Problems happen
My work with programming comes with some understanding. You cant find every problem... would take years for a team to do it. So that is why you release your product to the world and get feedback on issues. They then recreate it and find the problem that way (BUG REPORTS).
Give them time. I am sure a 911 call went out somewhere in the world and all of CCP are at work with huge 55 gallon drums of lube trying to figure out how to grease this puppy up so it will run good for a few more days.... geeze have fun with this forum instead of crying like a baby...im playing eve and minecraft booyah |

7. complete your online homework from college and make funny troll postings on a crybaby topic
8. Read every post in here and like every single one of them
9. draw your own tattoo

On May 21 we also deployed EVE Online: Retribution 1.2.4 and the new EVE Launcher. These deployments are not believed to have caused the underlying problem but are believed to have affected its manifestation. Updating the Launcher or the client requires connecting to our currently overloaded web servers and as a result, EVE Online players may not be able to either properly update your EVE Online client, the EVE Launcher, or connect properly to the Tranquility server to play EVE Online.
For anyone experiencing any of the above issues we would like to point out to this thread for further explanations and potential workarounds.

READ THE FREAKING UPDATES GUYS FFS......
GO TO YOUR CCP FOLDER
OPEN THE EVE FOLDER
OPEN THE BIN FOLDER
DOUBLE CLICK THE EXEFILE it looks like the eve icon but the name is " EXEFILE"
RUN THAT
it bypasses the launcher, runs the client. It works. period. bloddy period it works :D |
