Please post ano issues you have noticed with the upgrade of the server hardware. Please note that no server or client code has been changed with the upgrade, so there shouldn't be any issues. Please post constructive criticism, rants and flames will be deleted.
A news item containing an 'after action' report on the hardware upgrade and the recent connection difficulty will be posted later in the evening when we have had a chance to review the respecitive performances.

Nobody can access "my account" section so i among others whos sub ran out today cant even resub to play.

thought the lag was gonna be fixed with new hardware......1 minute to open items......didnt work then

IM STILL SUFFERING FROM THE PERSISTANT SERVER PROBLEMS, THIS IS UNACEPTABLE!
Edit: Sorry it seems ok now  just noticed the other thread and oveur's comment there. Allthough i must say i feel this situation has been handled badly and there has been a lack of communication from the Devs.

Connection issue's are due to the routing problems. So it has nothing to do with the hardware upgrade.
Atm i'm not having any lag issues.

Sorry but this has been going on long enough without any answers on when it is getting fixed. I have asked nicely persitanly on the other thread without any response from devs. I was under the asumption this would have been fixed with the hardware upgrade. Finaly I unlike you didnt result to petty insults and profanity.

I've had no issues, I had to copy over 500 Bms there but I didn't notice any increase in speed, or decrease.
Jim Steele did you leave a support ticket? I don't understand why people think the forums will be the answer to your woes when you can get a direct answer from the support section.
Edit: As an after thought you'll probaly just hear from them what you hear from the offical news posts anyway.

noticed a significant speed increase with the assets window functions showing all assets was VERY fast (before i had to wait 2-3 minutes). Mail seems unchanged. Item showinfo seems slightly bit faster.

Tranq is definately smoother, faster. Although evemail is still slow to load.

Haven't noticed any changes. Maybe a slight increase in un-docking speed.

Quite impressed by hardware upgrade. Undocking is almost instant for me now. Hangers with 100 or more items load instantly and no longer take 20 seconds. Inserting bookmarks into My places no longer takes 5-10 minutes i am very glad to say! :)
All in all, i believe that the upgrade has certainly paid off. Well Done CCP!

Had no issues before this upgrade. Now i have horrible lag. The game acually warped me to safespot as if i got disconnected.

Got to say - congrats CCP!
Excellent job on the smooth transition to the new storage solution, no mean feat.
I'm sure lessons can be learnt so that scheduling and dips in performance before the upgrade can be avoided in the future.
Feel free to buy yourself a round of drinks from me ... let me know where to send the cash!

I can't manage to log in... Then I try, the login procedure seems to start out fine (with successful authentication handshakes, "get bloodlines" etc, then the login procedure suddenly... stops. The status box shows only the text "LOGGING IN..." and if I try hitting escape, it closes and I have to quit the client if I want to try to log in again. :-(
Before the upgrade, I managed fine to log in...
oh well... :-(

I havent been able to play for two days now and the skill I was upgrading ended since two day. I just hope the problem will be resolved soon because you know, we are all sufering from this, either by not being able to research skills or playing.

I have never had any problems and still not having any problems or lag.
I was thinking, doesn't it take writting different code to match the better hardware anyways, to do more stuff or do stuff better?

there are a couple of posts indicating that undocking speed has increased - i seem to have the opposite problem
specially after switching ships
