CCP sees fantastic login numbers and decides "you know what? let's make logging in more cumbersome" mine quotes from my posts at your peril, badposters

Chandaris wrote:However you have now made it a whole lot more difficult for me to switch characters, which is really fuckiing annoying. Why?
It's supposed to be a first step towards easier character switching, so they made it more difficult to switch characters
It's a difficult line of logic, I know mine quotes from my posts at your peril, badposters

Krixtal Icefluxor wrote:The unfortunate thing about this for the subscribers is that in all honesty, the login screen and music is utterly irrelevant to game play and performance.
As far as reasons for keeping it go, we don't really have any strong logical legs to stand on concerning the issue.
Same with the vanished Jukebox.
It's irrelevant to people who have been playing for years and just ignore the login screen, but when you have people who feel like trying that spaceship game they read about somewhere, a login screen with a nice, artistic design looks a hell of a lot better than "log in through the launcher, get dropped into character selection, spin your ****** ibis around or walk around in a single-player closet" mine quotes from my posts at your peril, badposters
