How about you guys aim for the release of kali? That way eveyone in eve will have something to do(watch the movie over and over and over again) while there server is down or too buggy to play?

I wish I had a solid answer for you. As I've mentioned before, this project is a part time activity for the group working on it. Many of us are professionals in the film and animation industry and have RL work we have to make a priority. Once those day to day obligations are met we then spend our time and energy on this project. If we had a budget bigger than $0 then this project would probably become more of a priority than it currently is. But as a project lead I can't expect the other members working on this project to make it a priority. So with all of that said, it may take us a couple of months or a couple of years to complete. I wish there was a way for it to be more of a priority but due to RL situations it remains a part time hobby.

Benefiting from this project through either in-game isk or RL isk would go against the agreement I have with CCP. The only group who could consider paying us would be CCP themselves and I'm sure that won't happen. This project is and will remain a labor of love for me and the crew.

Well im working solo on a project similiar in scope using Maya..ol wish me luck..im still learning :)
I like what I have seen so far, a few points for adjustment which im happy to talk to you about in private

I am not one to say good job to many people, but in all honesty this has left me speechless. The production value and effort put into this project is absolutely awe inspiring. The quality of the video and the concepts behind them are something I am looking foward to with great anticipation. Well done to the men that have put this project together, and congratulations on everything that has been accomplished to date. I eagerly look foward to the completion of this project.

How is Slys career doing? I can only agree though. The movie will come though dimensional portal along with the Jovians... Have patience, folk. It will come. Props to Biff Steel and staff for doing this... Even though its been build up, so much that some people will trash it even though its state-of-the-art.

Were the models used in the trailer ingame graphics? It seemed to me like they were modeled elsewhere. The texturing on the ships seem much more smoother then they appear ingame.
If they were modeled elsewhere, what kind of software package did you use? Just curious :).
