Montcalm	Posted - 2005.10.26 01:42:00 - [1] Alright so a few weeks ago I posted about having lost a duel after the Tempest pilot I was fighting called in his buddies to help him during a 1 on 1. Alot of people at that time posted their experince with dueling, many offered advice on how not to get screwed...apparently I'm a slow learner...what do you expect from a 12-year old that really likes oreo cookies and chocolate milk? This time, however, I was called a cheater. Apparently, using EW during a duel is "dishonourable"? Apparently, this is a well-known rule in the PvP community? Now I have only been a PvP player for about 7 months so I admit I have ALOT to learn, but in my opinion, the only rule in a duel is it has to be "1 vs 1"...everything else goes. Am I wrong? I would like to share the conversation that happened between me and my latest dueling dud and I'd like to hear from the players in the eve community whether I'm unlucky, naive, dumb, or really a cheater. ALSO people whould note, that honour is only shown to those that show honour themselves. Rougish behaviour is not honourable so most people will NEVER receive it. As for EW in a 1 vs 1, it seems there are two camps on this, we are of the "no EW ever" and everyone else whos posted appears to be of the "by any means nessecary". If you want a 1vs1 with us using EW, then you better make it clear that you want to use EW. If anyone has a problem with this, its not our problem.
