Meridius Dex 24th Imperial Crusade Amarr Empire 3	Posted - 2013.06.23 21:23:00 - [31] - Quote I am a veteran pilot who has been away from the game for 2+ years and am thinking of returning to try some new things. Dex is a 56 Mil SP character I have owned from the beginning. My background over the last 5 years (including the 2 OOG) has been in facwar for the Amarrian militia. Previously, I also spent time in 0.0 corps/alliances. I've done some null ratting and high level mission running, but my background is mostly PvP. But I am tired of the FW scene and am looking for something different from EVE. Exploration in particular appeals to me - and I do need to kick the rust off after having been away so long and the game having changed so much (it seems). The idea of solo exploring (or trekking with a small group) sounds good and I'm sure I could use some pointers as it's been awhile since I leapt into the great beyond. I also have a full-time sales job IRL that is taking up a lot of my schedule and I may only be available for now during evenings and weekends ((UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada). Would I be a good candidate for consideration?

In a month. That's pretty impressive, and gives me a happy face. It's nice to know there's a lot of pacifist pilots out there. If you're one of them, we have a home for you. A corp that doesn't require you to do anything (apart from not attacking anyone), but provides you with a place where you can chill out with like-minded pilots, all of them doing their own thing. Just the way you like it.

I've been exploring the edges of New Eden from Delve to Cobalt Edge, traveling by wormholes and exploring Relic and Data sites. TNE has been a good place to discuss exploration and chat with fellow travellers, sharing information and tips.

I sure do love my Null-Bear Tengu with Tengu Propulsion - Interdiction Nullifier and Tengu Offensive - Covert Reconfiguration subsystems, he he he. Fun sometimes just to sit in people's space and see what they say. Or scan out their exploration sites and take their goodies when they aren't looking. That really does make them upset at times, especially the bigger alliances. Just wanted to say seems pretty cool, what you guys are doing. Not really sure if I want to switch corps right now, but if I do later, I will keep you guys in mind if you guys are still recruiting at the time. Touring is not a training corp, so we don't accept members that just need nullsec survival training. It's a corp for 'travellers, solo pilots or nomads' who also wish to avoid PvP. And, for those that need it, there are guides for safe lowsec and nullsec travel, etc. Anyone who already knows all that stuff is still welcome to join the corp, and enjoy mixing with other like-minded members who are also doing their own thing. They just don't need to worry about the 'how to' guides. You'd be welcome to join us any time you like.

You can't REALLY do whatever you want. You see, PvP is banned in TOURING, so you can't attack other players, or support attacks on other players. You also can't loot yellow wrecks or salvage ships without permission, unless there's just no one else around. But if they come back and say, "Oy! What you doing with my wrecks!" then you apologise and say you thought they were abandoned. That's the only catch in TOURING. So if you thought it sounded too good to be true, you can rest assured that it was too good to be true. There's always a catch. But now that you know what the catch is, I hope you'll feel more comfortable joining us.
