I'd just like to let you all know that I have taken over as CEO of TOURING NEW EDEN. More information is here:
Black Claw is back
As far as I'm concerned, it will be 'business as usual' in regards to the goals of this corp, and its place in New Eden as a pacifist corp for solo pilots, travellers and explorers. There will be no changes - other than it's now run by me. And I will be continuing on as Alexia planned.
Any questions? |

Recruitment is still open for all those solo pilots out there that enjoy doing their own thing without being bothered by a demanding corp or other players.
Come join the family of other solo pilots. We're all warm and friendly, and corp chat is usually quite active with conversations and advice. |

A strong benefit for members of TOURING is that we have:
* no corp assets * no single base of operations * no corp operations, in fact * no territory to defend * no corp taxes (0.0%) * no groups of members in any single location * members mostly happy to fly into and around nullsec
Why are these benefits, I hear you asking?
Because we don't have a lot that attracts griefers or aggressors looking to make a lot of money from stealing or attacking corp assets or operations.
Our way of doing things provides safety for its members. When they can fly into nullsec and are happy to do so, they're no longer a target for highsec wardecers, who are looking for weak, naive and ignorant corporations who are afraid to go into nullsec, and who band together to create large amounts of ISK and assets for the corp. That makes them a juicy target.
TOURING is not a juicy target at all.
Not only will TOURING teach you how to fly safely throughout all of New Eden, but will provide you with an element of safety simply by how it operates. And you don't have to pay taxes for it either!
Note: there may very well be times someone will decide to wardec us. But nullsec is your area of safety. Trust me. We'll teach you how that works. We also have a Wartime Operations Policy that will help you stay safe during times of war. |

I'm constantly amazed at how many solo pilots there are out there who are looking for a home. Approaching 80 members right now, and they're all friendly and supportive, ready to help each other with tips and information. I love |

Freedom.
What do we mean by that? How do we offer you freedom in a game that has rules?
Well, the freedom we offer is simply to do what you want, when you want, how you want. Our only rules are based around pacifism, and as long as you can avoid starting fights, you can do whatever the hell you want.
Freedom |

Someone just sent me an evemail:
Quote:Yours is the most intriguing corp ad so far, but I have to ask: why make a corp at all? I wrote them a reply, which I decided to use here too.
Quote:I asked myself the same question. I'd been running a corp just for myself, for my own solo activities (as my alt Alexia Morgan), and then one day, six weeks ago, I got the funny idea to open it to public recruitment as a place for others just like me. Solo players that wanted to do their own thing without having to PvP, while also having the opportunity to learn how to venture into nullsec and avoid PVP.
In six weeks I went from just me to over 90 members.
People who are interested in doing their own thing, in their own time, without having a corp demand anything of them, and with zero tax rate so they can earn the most money, while learning how to survive in nullsec. You can't get that from an NPC corp.
Since it's taken me 6 weeks to get 90 members, it seems there's a need for a corp like this. |

The corp has been wardec'd today. It's a good thing we've had a Wartime Operations Policy in place.
Recruitment is still open - you just have to be aware we're at war. But in Touring, you'll learn how to travel safely in nullsec, where everyone wants to kill you. The same principles can be applied for highsec wartime operations.

This actually seems like a really cool and interesting idea. The one thing really drawing me to this game so far has been exploration and wormhole space and things like that. I also have been looking at the website and I really like the blog posts about the travels. Seems like you guys are having a lot of fun. Kudos! |

Sola Narro wrote:What about scary war decs? They're not that scary if you learn to travel safely in nullsec. The things you learn about staying safe out there can be applied to highsec travel as well, during times of war. At least they can't use warp bubbles in highsec...
For those who want to stay in highsec and continue doing PVE, it's possible, but dangerous. However, we also teach how to avoid being caught and killed by the wardec enemies in highsec.
It's not scary. It's just another part of the game; challenges that you can learn to deal with and overcome. |
