The war is going well, even though we're one of the target corps of the aggressor. So far our allies have killed some of them, with no kills against us.
The information available to corp members in how they can stay safe during wardecs seems to be working out quite well. And that's WITHOUT turtling up inside stations. Members are still engaging in highsec PVE activities, but they know how to keep themselves safe.
It's great to see. |

Casualties of war don't need to be, but learning how to avoid dying often involves dying as part of the learning process. When in war, fly cheap ships if you're going to continue engaging in PVE. Keep an eye out for intel in the corp's intel channel, and be aware of where the enemy were last seen in relation to your area of activity. Above all, keep Local chat in sight, and look out for reds in your system. Staying alive requires awareness.

So as a result of the war (which is now over, in case you were waiting for that to occur before joining us) I've put our wartime operations policy and operational tips on the website and open to the public. You can see them here:
Wartime Operations Policies and Tips
It's what we did during the war, and it's what you could do too, if you're at war. I hope they keep you safe! |

You'll have to forgive me. With this war on my mind, it's all I've been talking about this past week. But it's over now, time to move on.
Remember - TOURING is a corp that allows you to do whatever PVE activity (no PVP at all) you want. You do it your way, in your time, in your favourite location. We don't tell you what to do or how to do it. We have no demands on you, not even during war. |

We reached 100 members yesterday. That was pretty exciting. Who knew that so many pacifists were out there?
It took us just under 2 months to reach 100. I wonder if we can get another 100 in the next 2 months? What do you think? |

What will you be doing? |

Been with TOURS over a month now and I have to say that before I came back to the game and started to look for similar minded people, EVE really didnt have a purpose for me as I felt that, if I didnt mine, pvp or do missions, there was nothing left in the game to keep me going. But with Exploration all of that has changed and being a member of TOURS helped me make that happen.
TOURS and its leadership taught me alot about traveling safe during my 're-Initialization' into EVE now that Exploring has really kicked of
I have been traveling throughout High, Low, Null and Wormhole space safely in both regular and covert crafts since I joined and it has been a real fun time to be able to go everywhere without fear, as long as you follow the guides and learn from all the information available from the Galaxy Map, TOURS and its Friends.
We are a very nice bunch of people all happy to do the thing we wanna do within the game in a very friendly and laid back enviroment, don't hesitate to join up or contact the reqruiters to get to know us, we would love to hear from you
Fly safe, tata! |

Here's some exciting news for you!
As of today, TOURING is now paying 1 million ISK to any member that asks for it to buy the following skillbooks:
Social | Diplomacy | Connections
This is to support members in boosting their standings with NPC corps and factions, and ultimately assist the corp with having high enough standings with some NPC corps that they can create jump clones.
So if you're a new player and you want to maximise your income from NPC corps and their agents, TOURING will pay you for the skillbooks that will help you do that.
Are you excited?! I am. |

Well, the corp experienced its first AWOXer tonight. A new member who immediately started attacking his corp mates.
[By the way, if you're searching for awox or awoxers and your search brings you here, just know that laedo-ledo is a scumbag awoxer. Add him to your list.]
Thankfully I was able to log in as soon as downtime finished and kicked him out of the corp before he could do any further damage.
But before downtime, before I could kick the Awoxer out, he demanded I pay him 500 million ISK, which I declined to do so. My senior members and I agreed that we 'will not negotiate with terrorists'. So his highsec wardec alt and buddies wardec'd us with a surrender offer of 500 million ISK, which I declined.
The end result is that we're at war again, and so recruitment will be suspended until further notice. |

Ya can't please everyone all the time. So there's no point trying. Remember that!
We had someone join today that was a member for less than an hour before they quit. I asked them why. Turns out they were expecting more corp activity, and were surprised to see on the map that members were scattered across New Eden. They left to find a corp more suitable for their needs.
Considering that everything we promote is that we're a corp for loners, nomads, solo pilots and explorers, and that we have no base of operations and members are all over New Eden, it made me think that they read nothing of any of our recruitment information.
So this is a warning to you. If you're looking for a corp that actively works together, it's not us.
We're for those who prefer doing their own thing, in their own way, in their own time, in their own area of operations. We have zero tax on missions, etc, so we're a non-profit organisation existing only to bring together like-minded people to enjoy a bit of social chat on occasions, as well as advice and support with PVE activities.
That's pretty much it. If that interests you, feel free to join us. If it doesn't, that's cool. There's other corps out there that will be more interesting and rewarding for you. |

This. I've been with TNE for close to a month now and it's been a fantastic experience. I've learned how to warp-align, how to use NullSec as a safe spot (Yeah, just got podded, my fault on that one...) and how HighSec WarDeccers won't follow you into NullSec. Oh, I get to play when I want, how I want, where I want, alone. Of course my corpmates are quite helpful so I help them as well, whether by increasing standings for jump clone acquistion or just by spreading the word about TNE.
Great corp, great people, great fun!

TNE is not for everyone, but if you're the kind of player like me who has fun by doing whatever, whenever, then perhaps this is the corp for you! Point first, immediately regret later. |

I know, it's been a while since this thread has been updated. I've been busy, but I'm 'back in action' now.
There's been some changes made in the corp focus. I got distracted for a bit, and the corp ended up having too many PVE members wanting me to help them continue doing PVE even during wars, and they were unwilling to head off into nullsec to learn how to do PVE there and avoid the wars.
So I'm back on track now.
We're a mostly nullsec corp for those pilots out there who mostly want to travel around the galaxy, exploring, doing their own thing, etc. We're not a highsec PVE corp, and we don't provide any highsec PVE support. If you're looking for that, then you'll need to look for another corp.
But we're also open for recruitment - even during wars. As long as your character is at least 3 months old, and you're willing to learn how to travel safely in nullsec, you'll be a good fit for joining us.
Join the TOURING channel ingame for more information or to have a chat with me. |
