Dark,
I haven't read all the 4 pages of this thread but it sounds pretty cool what you are attempting here.
As a former member of FIX and Council member you should be able to obtain all history of FIX in your forums and in doing so ALOT of history on the south and how it was formed. Not too mention the fantastic war FIX had with SA/5/BOB and the 6 empire wars as well. I still smile about that when I think about it. I think Nez gave a great break down on the CFS Wars and the why's, how's and the outcome (well we all know the outcome). If one of the JCoS or your Council rep from your corp can give you details from various council meetings that would help. There is a ton of information in the council forums for FIX. I was involved in the council during the juicy times of the SA/5/BOB and Coalition wars and it was very interesting.
Good luck on this and I look forward to reading your final cut.

i havent read the entire 4 pages either, but as far as i can see Omega Corp havent really been mention wich is a really shame.
as far as i know dont remember any timeline
Omega corp co-founder of Stain Alliance. Stain alliance have internal issues OC gets excluded by main corps as mass and evolution. Omega corps fight back and joins Curse allaince. Omega corps puts in an offensive towards SA taking control of most of stain. OC regroups to reinforce CA. OC and CA attacks xetic for break NAP against OC OC Attacks Fountain, Delve Period basic, Queros. CA joins OC in Attacking fountain.
Omega corp did alot of thing with medium size army. and thats just some of it. i know we attacked alot more places and regions than just that. If what not is, what is ?. |

Wheres that info from? Omega was the founder of C4 alliance, and afaik didnt leave C4 until it disbanded along with OC to form supremecy. I dont remember C4 ever joining stain, i remember them in curse though. _______________________________________________

OC Was originally in SA.. They were voted out of the alliance after EV spies discovered they were using a shadow corp to attack SA. After Leaving SA they joined CA and dedicated themselves to crushing EV and in turn SA. Maybe 4 months later they brought back their old beta alliance C4 and recruited BSC, TTI, 7th Space Cavilry, zoners and Ota Corps to help destroy SA. For a month maybe 2 they lived in estoria/Paragon Soul taking the new conquerable stations from SA. After m0o and Evolution presure in cruse became to much for CA to handle they were recalled and went back to curse. From then on they fought inside curse or on the offensive. Eventually Duke decided to leave the game and Tholarim took over.. ther merged Ota Corps, OC and Zoners to make supremacy... If your wondering what happened to EV they were booted from SA shortly after and have never returned to their former glory. OC did play a major part in the south... had the conflict with SA never happened SA would have eventually crushed CA and a years worth of CA history would never had occured.
Edit. Just to add... the original conflict with SA was over asteroid distribution. At the time Stain region has bistot in NPS station systems. OC did a lot of the fighting in curse and wanted more ore than the other corps, SA refused and they were voted out after spies revealed they would attack EV with a shadow corp... I still have those TS recordings i think...

That said, an animated Civ map for Eve would look like theTerritorial Alliance Map where we see each alliance grow/move/vanish in Eve's history to the point of which we are now

A pretty decent summation, I would add that the c4 corps became Curse Alliance members as well as being c4, but this eventually the c4 fell off and all the corps were "just" CA. Also, as to the merging of OC with other corps, it was mainly OC and Zoners corps + members that merged along with certain members of Ota, 7th space Cav, TTi etc as far as I remember that time. I have to admit though, this is the first time I think I've heard of the OC shadow corp attacking EV part.
As to the asteroid distribution if I remember correctly wasn't there something about there being an origonal signed deal with the "founding" corps of SA and the SA council wanted to throw this away to do the new asteroid system distribution for the new corps? I'm certain it was written down at some point. Hmm. . . something to look into later methinks.

We kinda got that at Eve fanfest in the alliances presentation. But it was simply the maps one after the other slideshow style. No writting at each stage or anything which explains the changes. But it do show the trend change from large space claiming alliances to lots of smaller alliances.

Oh you mean like in Alpha Centauri, where that idea was created long before Civ3?
That would be cool, though hard.
P.S. I absolutely love Civilization. Civ3 ruined it for me, IMO. - Proud member of the [23].

I think the TS recordings still work. Please no one bump that thread, it is a part of eve history it should be kept in its place or it will be lost.
