This is eve after all and fairness is not the name of the game. Glorious and arena like combat is left for tournaments and dueling, all other form of combat in eve is inherently unfair and one side will almost always have an advantage. I am glad that finally alliances are actually fighting for an objective that is logical (if there is such a thing in an internet spaceship game), valuable isk and estate, and not fighting for the sake e-honor, holding sov because we are leet, or we dont like you and we are going to take your space. Ideally all wars and combat should be for a good reason, and that reason shouldn't "only" be gud fights. In a war where you have clear materialistic objective you can easily weigh the cost benefit of such wars and hopefully have a bigger motivation to actually engage in them. So thanks for CCP for making a small change (long overdue) that makes null more interesting. We might finally have a good war (please test dont fail cascade). Fingers crossed.
