Im a wormholer but keep up to date on the going on in nullsec, just been reading about this invasion of fountain by the goons, they wait until TEST have like no backup and then move in. I tend to root for the underdog and it seems to me goons are just a bunch of chickens.
Reading mittanis speech made me laugh, i really hope black legion and all the other guys who constantly harass the cfc band in and give the goons a good kickingwaffe.
i think im going to get down to fountain to do my bit, are you?  |

I think goons get a lot of hate for the wrong reasons. I've encountered hostile test a lot more than goons. Hell, in null a film and I were in the same system and we started chatting and getting along where as I've always gotten a hostile response from test. |

I'm sorry, none of what you say is possible. Null Sec is a safe blue doughnut and it's full of unicorns and happiness where CCP give you 20 plex and a free tech/r64 moon just for going there.
It's less dangerous than high sec despite those pesky statistics and facts showing much more pvp with much more expensive ships than anywhere else.

i just think the war should have been HBC vs CFC ... its very convenient to say..my finance team says we need more r64's at a time when test arent in the hbc...
Seems goons will only pick a fight if they feel they have massively superior odds.
im not defending the people in test because i dont know them, but goons mentality gets under my skin.
cant wait to pop some of them in fountain.
plus i want to see goons burn - anyone who puts a 'The' before theior name desrves a slap in the face. |

In any case Goonswarm didn't wait until TEST had no allies to invade Fountain. It might be convenient but the invasion has a lot more to do with the fact that (correct me if I'm wrong) TEST now controls the most valuable moons in the game.
Of course there are other ways for sov holding alliances to make ISK but Goons are understandably averse to some of these (namely renters).

I agree with that statement and as most know i am rather anti-goon - no they never touched me anywhere blabla .
The thing is , i allways say it openly and on this character.If they want to they know how and where to find me easy as that.Your hiding behind an alt screaming what a retards they are and how you will give them some buttkicking with your 0 kills/loss alt.
So , seems to me you also like to have the odds in your favour massively as you don't even have the balls to show your true eve identity.

We saw a goon fleet come in and put a pos into reinforce last night.
Same system as a test pos.
Test pos was untouched.
This wasn't Fountain or Delve.
Also seen a goon scanning for moons ALL DAY.
We left him alone, never bothered us. The goonfleet we saw never bothered us as well, even though we chatted them up in local.
Of course, we also hauled ass when we saw the cyno. But meh, business as usual.
The new dynamics of sov will be interesting to see.

Who cares? The overwhelming majority of Goons that I've encountered have been rather quite chill. It's the NC. Me-Too's and hangers-on who irritate me; not a single decent experience with any of the lot of them, regardless of which sec or corp I've been in (always cold and dismissive of even a Hello in local). They seem more to me like the sort who plays the game to pay for the game, instead of playing for fun, kind of like a bad drug addiction.
So Goons are fine, and at least, personally, I look forward to some fun fights. But NC.? Those hooligans can bugger off. |
