Does that realy matter? Yeah you are right, a lot of players were unsure what it meant or even did not understand it.
For that reason there were hundreds of questions in various threads, were people made minor fools of themselves by asking the community. To a point that it was mildly annoying, since the 100th could simply have read the answers the 99 before him got.
So the OP had the choice of being sensible and reading any of the various explanations for those that did not get it from the dev blog or embarassing himself slightly by asking on any forum he had access to. He chose to do neither and make a big fool fo himself by complaining after the facts. |

Apparntly you didn't read the entire devblog.
Let me put it in a way you can understand:
Option 1:
Prepatch trained: Caldari cruiser 3 + BC 5 + no other cruiser skills.
Post patch: Caldari cruiser 3 + Caldari BC 5 + no other cuiser OR BC skills.
Option 2:
Prepatch trained: ALL cruisers to 3 + BC 5.
Post patch: ALL cruisers 3 + ALL BC 5.
Option 3:
Prepatch trained: BC 5 + NO cruiser skills.
Postpatch: skill reimbursements.
Next time don't feel like a special snowflake and start whining about something you are not entitled too. The Devblog was very clear to most people and released well in advance to anticipate on it. You are option 1, not 3.

Let's see:
Battlecruisers V was: 1,536,000 SP
If you have no cruiser skill trained up to 3:
* BC V is reimbursed -> 1,536,000 unallocated SP
if you have one or more cruiser skill trained up to 3:
* No reimbursement
* Relevant racial BC skill(s) is/are awarded at level V
Same counts for Destroyers V: 512,000 SP
No frigate skill trained up to 3:
* Destroyers V is reimbursed -> 512,000 unallocated SP.
If you have one or more frigate skill trained up to 3:
* No reimbursement
* Relevant racial Destroyer skill(s) is/are awarded at level V
So:
If you have no frigate or cruiser skill trained up to 3 AND had Dessie V and BC V:
* the mind boggles
* you would have 2,048,000 unallocated SP.
The other combinations you can hopefully figure out yourself, but the maximum "free" allocated SP you could get was 6,144,000 SP if you had all frigate and cruiser skills trained appropriately together with dessy and BC V.
It looks like you are confusing which skillpoints would be reimbursed.

You didnt train the Frigate & Cruiser skills for the other races who's Battlecruisers you could not yet fly.
Problem identified. Now to solve the stupid.
