Yeah, but I really was yelling for attention, man...
Apparently the most important error here is that caps were used... Not that MC's name was apparently used in vain.

Everything is relative, so to me, yes, the caps usage was the most important error to me.
But I did send off an email to a number of people, so I hope it'll be fixed as soon as they can.

lunatic recruiter captured
They made another mistake in this story too. In this story they claimed this guy was trying to recruit pilots in Genesis region, but he was in Verge Vendor at the time. Alenia is Gallente space!
Oh and another mistake, they didn't mention me in the story.

Who? If there was someone there, whoever it was, he might had taken a shot at one of you, but there is no chance in hell he was trying to defend that outpost. The MC was not involved in this event in any way at all. 25 October 05 was the date the last MC fleet moved out of the area. We have not been back to Geminate since. -

Actually, NSN made a quick trip to FDZ at some time in early November, to pick up one of our pilots who had been left behind.
He was found in one of the bars, trying to pick fights with the other patrons, who were all cowering in fear behind the bar desk, protected by the Bar-O-Matic II bartender drone that had been installed after MC's last visit to the station.
After sobering him up, we went our merry way, without meeting any resistance.

Didnt write down the name. But I had to run from him and hide. He arrived in local in system next door to the egg along with 2 lacuna , 3 biomass cartel and some free merc corp ++ for a total of 12 pilots. He left at the same time as them. Didnt track names and corps after that so I don't know if he was in the group sniping our pilots that was getting rid of the garbage. hirr - xthril |

No clue, m8. But MC wasn't part of this. If we had still been on the payroll, there would have been 70-90 MC battleships around that egg (as was planned) and there would most likely be an LV outpost in Geminate today. Congrats, regardless. -

A long time ago in the year 2000 the great papa lemming gave the furry horde a name and he named us hirr.
HIRR! is the warcry for the grand lemmingrun. The last battle against overhwelming forces. The lemmingrun to end us all and after that there will be no more hirr. So to spell hirr with capital letters is to spell our death. We will not let anyone do that to us.

I'll investigate what happend, as of now I see no reason to change the article.
We can however do an counter interview on the MC and your work ethics( is it true you never reveal who contracted you and why is this so important)
Mail me at [email protected] if you want to know more about what good can come from the news.

Other than the fact that we have publicly stated we not involved, contracted against different targets and no longer in the area? All righty then!

I talked with Khatred, and he made a big deal to me about how he refused to hire the MC, and if he tried it again, he would not hire them either.

Seleene, just make a public statement saying MC was in no way involved in the defence of the outpost at that time.
Why are you so bent on changing the news? Is the news supposed to be 100% correct or unbiased? Isn't it more fun this way? We should be glad we finally start to see more player oriented news that actually matters, after a long eerie silence with only RP nonsense after the Scope and MDW died because of similar reasons.

Because far more people read the news than even read the forums.
It'll probably take months for everyone to realise that the MC was not involved. Its a blight on the MC's reputation, the idea that they failed to defend an outpost when hired . - Proud member of the [23].

Anyway, perhaps more people read the news then forums, but I think the 'who cares!' factor is actually the other way round.

Thats why I offer them a chance to do their own interview and a chance to dispute that they were a part of this.

Oh, I realize that. However, in RL if a story is printed and proved to be inaccurate, the printer of the story usually makes some sort of correction or retraction. If a counter-story is the answer, that's fine too though. We're all learning here.

Edited by: forumalt on 12/11/2005 20:00:36 The player who was involved in that fight was "FowlPlayChiken". He had a vagabond which was used to tackle... He was flying with the merc fleet of which parmizan was in control, and engaged 4S/Xanadu/hirr fleet at the outpost with them and tackled for them. While i am sure, Seleene, that you had nothing to do with it officially, one of your pilots seemed to.
