My notepad looks like this for over a month now and cant access the informations inside. Plz do something, devs.

Undock it. Notepad does not play nice docked to other windows.

I've had that happen to me... really sucks.... Go under your your EVE cache folder and delete it.. Try to save the part that holds folders for Bookmarks if you can find it.. That's the only thing that gets annoying if you delete. That is the only way to fix it

nerf the notepad :) any ideas on changes to the notepad as it stands id like to see some enhancements over tiem

My notepad is still bugged even after the patch but worked on sisi. If I really have to delete my complete cache folder, then at least give us some hint how to save the BM folders.

I fixed this in an unexpected way, without having to delete the cache.
Log into the test server (same version as Tranquility, for a while). Open and resize the notepad. Then exit and log in to Tranquility.
p.s. Resizing the notepad while it is docked seems to be what scrambles it for me.

Please write a bug report about this issue. Include as many information as you can. Should be really easy to fix.

i was botherd by exact the same bugs for months.
do the dev's never play eve or test it?

Who say's the devs have had this bug happening to them... I have not seen this happen before, that's why it is important to bug report the issues when they occur. Just because a bug shows for one doesn't mean anyone else have seen it.

i remebmer when i first got it, alot of other corp members had the same bug.

Guess the devs know how to play the game without breaking it then? 
Never had the bug myself nor heard any of my friends about it.

You DO NOT need to blitz the whole of your cache folder to correct this problem.
In the folder Eve\cache\settings there are two files.
user_xxxxx.dat and char_xxxxx.dat (where xxxxx = a string of numbers). Now just of the top of my head I cannot remember which one fixes the problem but the best thing to do is to close Eve, rename ONE of these files to something like user_xxxx.old then restart Eve and check the notepad. If it is not fixed close Eve, delete the new version of that file which will have been created and rename the old one back before following the same procedure on the other file. You WILL lose some other settings (I cannot remember which) but you will not lose your bookmarks.

Very big thanks. Its the "user_XXXXXX.dat" that has to be deleted/renamed. I tested it and only lost some settings for window size, position of some windows, but no bookmarks unsorted nor anything else is lost. My notepad works again. Again, big thanks.
