Actually they have a point. The fact that the topic started cant produce a location nor the person who podded him discredits his original accusation. An accusation without some kind of proof is heresay.
I could easily say that Eve Marshals podded me yesterday and that I wanted everyone to put EM on a pod list. This statement is without basis or proof, such as the topic starter's accusation.

So in your mind someone makes an accusation w/o proof, and it's up to the person accused to prove they're innocent? The fact is that the person doesnt state a location nor person who podded. That makes it pretty hard for someone to check and see if they did infact kill this person. Since this person was just starting out, it's possible they were in Lonetrek, Pure Blind, or The Forge region. Simple mistakes can happen for starting out characters. As well I'd like to know how they got to Venal in an ibis as the despoilers at the gates would have torn it to bits on approach.

I know you're not accusing me. And my accusing EM was an example, which fit quite will with the original poster's accusation.
Here's a paraphrase for the topic:
PlayerA accsed PlayerB of killing him and therefore wants to for an alliance to kill PlayerB. PlayerA doesnt state any kind of evidence that PlayerB was even responsible.
Here's where the controversy comes in:
The reason PlayerB called PlayerA a liar is because PlayerA doesnt have any proof of the said accusation. Since PlayerB said it didnt happen, this leaves the burdon of proof on PlayerA. Since PlayerA hasnt come up with any kind of evidence to backup his story, PlayerB is correct in saying PlayerA is lying. The only way that PlayerA can prove he isnt lying is to provide proof of the incident. (which is what PlayerB wants)

I hope in the future empire creation is added to the game. Then and only then will alliances truely "own" a region(s) of space. Well, they'd be called empires then not alliances.
