What is typical is bumps and hiccups with expansions. You'll get used to it 
I'm sorry, but I have to call BS on part of that. I too have been in several other online games. Do you know what happens when they have unexpected problems like this that prevent players from getting in the game? They add paid game time to the players' accounts. Why? Because they like to keep their customers happy, of course! Reimbursing time like this, whether the problem is the fault of the game company or not, is simply a customer service no-brainer.
Don't get me wrong; I think the devs at CCP have been doing a superb job repairing all the recent problems. But I also think that the beancounters are getting off easy by handing out skill points, which truly cost them nothing. Any other game would be reimbursing lost game time for these sort of troubles. |

Also, if no one noticed, the WoW part was a trolling, I removed it immediately to see how many would notice.
I have no reason to insult WoW players, but it is a world of less courage and mental challenge due to its fully static structure and lack of player power.
If you mistake my words for simple, misguided insults, then yes my friend, New Eden is not for you.

Well, first of all, I see 2 possible issues...
1. You have been playing for 7 years but you are still paying month to month???? Buy a year's membership if you must pay.... clearly you will be paying next month and the following etc....
2. Why... WHY..... are you still paying to play?
in 7 YEARS.... you have not figured out how to earn enough isk to pay?

I love the rage coming from people. Considering that most of the recent issues have been due to others attacking the CCP servers, you can't blame them for it. On top of that, considering that most actual issues with the game that cause this sort of thing are few and far between...it's kinda childish to rage just because the server is down for a little while.
Toughen up princesses, it'll be ok. Go get some sunlight, go socialise with those friends you had...you know, the ones that thought you died, since they haven't seen you in years? Yeah, them. Go do all that and stop being spoiled brats because CCP haven't fixed every minor problem with such a huge amount of programming.
Side note- For those who say they have been around a while, yet still complain, I call BS. If you've been around longer than a year, you'd know better, and wouldn't be here bitching. Unless thats all you have in life, besides playing EVE ;p |
