I've been hearing both stories saying they exsist, or they don't. I have trained Astrometrics to lvl 5 to try and find a hidden plex. Thus far I have had 0 luck, all I have managed to obtain is alot of bookmarks in far off places.
If they exists how do I go about finding them?

They exist. I've found a couple. The way you look for them, is with your system scanner. If you see some 'wierd' things like 'ancient acceleration gates' then you can be fairly sure there's a hidden complex there. Time to get out the probes. They're not all _that_ common, but their sufficiently hard to find that they're not being continually farmed.

Use your scanner to look for deadspace signatures. Then if you see one use scan probes.

they exist....in COSMOS constellations you need to find them for some missions. need scan probes...sometimes a real pain to find as well -----------------------------------------------

Sure they can exsist for missions, but I am talking about a place in a system. I am in a system where there is "Supposedly" a 5/10 hidden complex around here. Yet I've used a couple Mil worth of scan probes/ observators and have not been able to find squat.
my scanner doesn't show crap and it's range is only about 2 au, and it won't show any accel gates no matter where I go in the system.
what's the best way to find a hidden plex with scan probes? search for cosmic signature?

There were some really nice hidden plex out there that dropped Empire faction mods, but CCP went and changed those hidden ones to normal crappy ones in the last big patch...

Local scanner is only like what... 14au? From all I've ever been given to know these 'hidden' complexes are beyond the limits of your local scanner from most celestial objects in a given system... i.e. you need a larger scan area to find these 'cosmic signatures'- I've had that setting selected on my overview since it was first available and never seen one of these show up... even when I am at the gate to a plex that does show up (because 'beacon' is also a selectable overview object).
So... how are these hidden locations best found?

ôyou need a larger scan area to find these 'cosmic signatures'- I've had that setting selected on my overview since it was first available and never seen one of these show up...ö There are also some semi hidden ones which donÆt need a large scan area. They donÆt show on the system wide overview scan list right away. But once you get close say youÆre warping to a moon they pop up. Even before Cosmos there was stuff hidden away that didnÆt show to everyone ones scanners all over the system.

The ones that are ingame at the moment are related to agent offers and COSMOS missions. Searching for them randomly (without directions from the mission/offer or another player) would probably not be a good idea, as the likelyhood of finding one that way is like finding a needle in a haystack.
However hidden complexes popping up here and there is actually a good idea which might be implemented later on. But they would probably not be static content, to reduce the farming, and to add the exploration factor.

Only hidden complex i have ever found that wasn't part of cosmos was given as a clue for an offer. The location wasn't there, but if you read carefully it gave enough clues as to guess in which constellation it was.
Then, you literally had to go, using the general scanner at 360 degrees and max scan range looking for something unusual in every system (at that time i had no idea cosmic signatures is what i was looking for).
After pinpointing it, it just took a couple of minutes to use scan probes, and finally manage to warp to the deadspace entrance. This was in order to find an uncommon tag for a fleet stabber offer.
If someone enjoys finding stuff, i'd recommend cosmos. The amount of locations you can find is remarkable, one way or another.

I'm rather disappointed to know that the only hidden complexes are for agent offers. I thought it just happened that the one I found and make a billion off was. I am always scanning for hidden complexes but now I guess I can stop... I would be very pleased if the hidden complexes that shift about would be implemented. I am almost certain they were mentioned in the patch notes some time and I've been searching ever since.

Ive been learning as much as possible about system scanning over the last few months in the hopes of finding hiddens, I do have a few BMs to such and was able to use them as a baseline testbed to teach me more about locating such, when i can use the system wide probes Ill be writing a tutorial as soon as I can do so and test the validity of a couple of theories Ive yet to prove about such. *stares at skill gains..sigh*

Are hidden complexes gonna have improved rewards? In other words, is it worth looking for them?

ALL Complexes should be hidden, and the gates to them should move randomly to screw up pharmers.
Why the ones currently in game don't move, and are wide open to the blood sucking leeches that live in them 23/7, I do not know. CCP didn't think that one through at all.

They do indeed exist, me and my corp found one. Don't particularly want to give away it's location, but I can tell you that it is infact on Ombey's 2d Map, so others probably are too.
Plus it was static, and I'm not sure if it was COSMOS, since I don't really know what COSMOS would look like if I found it by accident

Best way to know if it's COSMOS - Is it hidden and in one of the COSMOS constellations? Algintal for Gallente, forget what for the three other races.
