Hiya - many of you do not know me but I am Latta, content manager over at www.eve-i.com. Eve-I went down without any apparent reason and i have been unable to contact the webmaster. PLEASE DON'T ASK ME AS I DONT HAVE AN ANSWER FOR THE WHY but my commitment to the game still persists. I am working with a team of people to bring something new to replace EvE-i
We are looking for community input on a new project. We would like you to post two questions (and only two) that you would like the devs to answer. Here is your chance. Post away. If you can answer a question that has been asked by someone before you, feel free to do so.
The idea is that we are looking for as many new, unique and refreshing questions as possible. And not OMG why did you nerf the missiles/drones/

Ask questions huh? Ok...
Will dreadnaught damages ever be boosted? As it stands now i cannot kill a tanked dreadnaught with a pure damage setup with both of us in seige mode. I cant even kill a half tank either :)
Will we ever see tech II dreadnaughts, or perhaps a tier two one, with a more specialized role (anti capitalship, anti battleship)?

Q 1)The possibility of having a delay to when you show up in local.
Based on security status of the system.
Example:
1.0 - no delay
0.9 - 1 minute
0.8 - 2 minute
0.7 - 3 minute
etc.
And so on and so on, you get the idea. Of course if you type you show up.
With RMR belt hunting will be the way to go, we need every advantage.

q1. Will there ever be a skill amnesty? A lot of long term players have accrued many skill points in many skills over the past 2-3 years and as EVE has changed quite dramatically (in some areas) over that time. Therefore it would be *nice* to dump the skill points from some of the skills into others.
q2. Can it be made possible to sell from a ships cargo hold without having to tranfer to hangar first? If not would segmented hangars be possible to separate loot etc from items you would like to keep?

#1: Do you intend to introduce 'tactical poses' anytime soon? The current pos stuff isnt all that useful outside of sovereignty/t2 production.
#2: Got to run, when I think of a good one Ill edit it in. But for now...how many hamsters does it take to run Jita?

1)What are the chanceÆs of getting passive tanked based ships?
We currently have ships that boost active tanking like the Brutix which gives 5% Armor Repairer effectiveness per level. Well we any time soon see passive tank based ships. Something along the lines of +10% amour hitpoints per level, +5% shield hitpoints +5% shield recharge per level and -15% amour repair HP per level and -15% shield booster HP per level.
2) Back on the old website there are screenshots of ships flying in formations and referenceÆs to ships getting bonusÆs for being in formation. Why was this not implanted and will it make it back into the game? IT would be fun if a gang assist ship could fly in formation and give a large bonus.

1) Why does it take so long for items to be moved from the "well they're on the market screen" to "cool I can buy those?" but couldn't you release the items from NPC corps where you are afraid that the player-driven market will unbalance things?
2) Why is it so hard to make a bug report! Seriously the interface is confusing and if you directly e-mail support your automated service often kicks things out as "not registered with your account/email address. It's kinda frustrating knowing that you've come across stuff, only to find that you can't actually tell anyone who might be able to fix it.

I'm in agreement with the guy on the dreadnaughts questions except I'd like to see, a top to bottom, scrutinization about "what went wrong" with their deployment and why the "need to pre-nerf" was unprecedentedly strong to the point that they currently fill no role as opposed to the two which were advertised with their rollout(ie, Anti-BS, Anti-POS)
Eve needs dreads in those two roles YESTERDAY. You have things unfolding in Eve this very hour that should be hinging on dreads being a factor but instead aren't becuase of their sorry state.

Don¦t you think that alts are making many ideas impossible and are generally making implemention of new features (such as the contract system) unneccessarily complicated? In the world of risk-vs-reward it seems that alts are creating loopholes to evade many risks.

Really just one question: Will you bring back eve-i's most excellent forums? That is the one big feature that I could not find anywhere else. Especially the profession-specific forums were very useful to me.

Both were discussed at fanfest, new ships were coming with new tank abilities ( looked amazing) and new skills that would allow more tactical things, and loads of new gang skills.

I would like to see some advances in the economic system, a better interface with buy/sell orders as well as downloadable statistics (RMR i think).
1) buy/sell corp shares
2) corperate skills for refining/agent/building/research

Seeing as how Eve-i was the mutt's nuts I really think they should.
Latta - I'm still rueing the loss of Eve-i, excellent Forums (searchable dontcha know  ) and the sublime ObEx.
