They have answered this question before. The answer was something like, "To encourage people to log on and play the game rather than just remotely skill train." I think it was answered in one of the dev chats, but I'm not 100% on that.

The missions nerf happened because players in Torp Ravens were just running day-in, day-out killing NPC's with little risk. With the missile changes, and now especially the NPC changes, missions are invariably harder, and take a vast amount of time. They clearly need a group of people to complete in a decent amount of time, yet there is no mechanic in place for it.
2. Is there a possibility that mission LP rewards can go to a "choose for yourself" system?
The addition of faction items to the LP reward system was a great idea, but with the extrordinary amount of grinding involved to get, for instance, a Navy Raven...It is frustrating to do so much work, and not see the fruits of your labor.

1)Any chance that ceptor damage output will ever be exchanged for evasion or tackling bonuses?
2)Could tech3 simply become increasingly specialized platforms rather than just more invulnerable versions of their counterparts?

I think what we really need is a website with "object explorer" the way eve-i had. That database is more complete that the one on eve-online and the way it was designed makes it very convenient to navigate.
Try to bring the database with interface part online as soon as possible and add other stuff later

I didnÆt hear anything about passive tank only active tank and gang assist style ships. Could anyone spill the details from fanfest?

Hmm, tricky!
1. Will it be possible for ship fitting/maintenance arrays at POS's, and those built in to carriers and titans, to be used by anyone in your alliance/gang? At the moment I believe they can only be used by members of your own corp, limiting the effectiveness of a single POS/carrier in a multi-corp environment.
2. Are there any plans to introduce a more transparent bug tracking system? So users can see a regularly updated list of known bugs, which bugs need more investigation/reporting, etc.

1: As regards Support ships, are they ever going to give them two bonues that compliment each other, as is one bonus can be used at about 55k away while the other is up close ie under 20k therefore defeating the purpose of a Support ship hanging back out of enemy weapons range.
2: Are they ever going to fix the damn AI when it comes to harvester drones? recently while on a mining op with 12 barges and tech 1 drones I was using harvesters, during the time in the belt 3 spawns of NPC's arrived and on all 3 occasions there primary target bypassing others were the Harvesters!! is this coded into NPC AI to target Harvesters as primary over all other targets?

1. Are there any plans to make mining fun in the future, not by adding modules or skills but by involving the player during the processus ?
2. Are there any plans to make NPCs more credible in belts, like allowing the players to look for their bases and destruct them, what could result for example in a decrease of NPCs spawn ? Or any other plans to make NPCs dynamic ?

Questions... hmmmmm.. well ok here we go then.
1) Is there a plan to make group mision running into a option? (The new contract system could posibly fit quite nicely in this role)
2) We keep getting hints to a rewrite of the manufacturing code, and as war is upon us will the combination of these two factors mean an accelerated pace of sientific invention and thus the creation of a whole new level of technology? ------------------------------------------- Should you disagree with me, well I guess that is because I disagree with you. #1 Why aren't the empires separated by low security zones to create diversity, open up inter-empire trade and finally give pirates their traffic in low security? Is there really a need for players to be able to safely travel all empires with it only taking more jumps?
#2 Will CCP ever start stimulating pirates to fly light and fast ships instead of big and heavy? Things like NPC pirates not shooting at PC pirates with good standing, special frigate/cruiser gates interconnecting low sec pockets, and maybe tweaking sentries so pirate frigates can camp, but battleships can not.

Q1. Does any dev do solo/2-man gang PvP in a battleship? (given their constant nerfing of battleships and promoting of large frigate gangs I doubt that).
Q2. More and more it seems to be necessary for players to use a 2:nd account for a covert op ship, which I seriously dislike. And especially their use for "legit log-in-traps". Will we get an anti-covert op ship/module?

I have two small questions/requests really.
1. Why is there no Full text Search on the Eve Forums? There are many times I would like to find out information on items - for example the phrase "Passive Shield Tanking" that actually has posts in several locations accross the forums. As these forums continue to get larger and larger it is less and less likely that I will find what I am looking for in any semblance of short order! I am constantly told in game that certain information is out on the forums but it can be difficult to locate.
2. How about new trade skills that lets you browse/purchase and sell on Escrow from space? I would go back to mining again from time to time if I did not have to be docked in a station to purchase or sell on Escrow.
Those are my two requests/questions. Thanks Latta - you are the best CEO EVER.... and I don't just say that cause I fear repercussions at your almighty hand should I not give Carbide Management props!

I only have one idea for now, but please consider it...

In short:
each system has a deadspace complex - the location of the acceleration gate to enter the complex is randomized after each downtime - players who want to play in the deadspace have to rat hunt for a while in the belts of that system for a while first - the rats will eventually drop something like a ship log (in reality it would be a bookmark) which would allow you to warp to the acceleration gate in the system. The dropping of these bookmarks would be regulated based on how many deadspaces were being cleared world wide.
this system would replace the current 'key' system we have now - so once you got a bookmark, you could go from lvl 1 to the end - provided you didnt get killed first =p

this way, while you were 'searching for a deadspace' you could make some money in the process - so even if your efforts dont land you inside a deadspace, you wouldnt walk away empty handed. |

1. Regarding Logistics ships: While I realize there are racial differences would you feel that it would be prudent, given the fact that no one flys Logi ships, to give them both shield AND armor bonuses so a single pilot could support his fleet better? A Scimitar pilot supporting Caldari ships and other shield tankers is one thing but what about the Amarr and Gallente pilots? Logi ships are the healers of Eve for lack of a better way of putting it. How about expanding that?
2. Are there plans to have BS sized Logistics ships or some varient that might be able to take more of a beating in the heat of combat? Or is the plan to keep support vessels smaller and vulnerable?

1. Escrow Courier missions...why is it possible for the start of the mission to be obscured (like so-and-so refinery instead of system/planet/moon/station)
2. Escrow player market...make it possible to search by item in contents of offer (ie search for all escrow entries including a thorax blueprint, etc)
3. Extended range market buy orders with conditions (security threshhold, for instance, so it would be accessible to all in a 10 jump radius systems 0.5 or higher.)
4. Toggle automatic locking of items placed in station containers. Pain in the neck when using them to simply organize your stuff to have to select things and unlock them. I can understand in a corp hangar where you might want to set access and stuff...but have the option to turn that off if you want.
Oh someone asked for segmented hangars for stuff to sell or to keep. I just do that with station containers. I have 3 in each of my stations, KEEP, RECYCLE and ORE. Works great.

1) can you please introduce that new HUD that ll show when you re ship is affected e.g.: webbed, jammed, scrammed, turret destabilised, etc ? ;)
2) if not the HUD - can you make it so the speed bar turns from BLUE to RED when the ship is being scrambled aka unable to warp at least ?

- Is it possible to make it so that Corporation standings affect the price on player market ?
e.g.:
Player A in Corporation X sells 100 pieces of Vigil frigates at 100,000 ISK.
Corporation X is at war with Corporation Y. This means that Corporation X has Y set to standing -10.
Player B in Corporation Y buys a Vigil frigate from the market. By coincidence this Vigil frigate is one of the 100 that Player A sells.
Because Player A has a high negative standing to Player B's Corporation Y the price is now higher than the original 100k say 110k.
This would be an incredible cool feature that is possibly not too hard to implement. I know, thats a sentence you hear all the time, but its true ;D

GUTTED! Eve-I was a superb fan site, the highlights being the Object Explorer and the great forums, free of smack and childish ranting. I miss this!
Questions: When will we be able to get hold of Factory and Lab Arrays for Large POS? Can't see that on any of the dev blogs.
Similarly, when will we see Ship Maintenance Arrays for POS that can repair your ships? That would fit really well for empire warfare! Need a boost of Cap / Armour / Shields? Just warp to your POS, get patched up and get back into the fight. I reckon you would have to keep it stocked with fuels and parts etc.

the forums are being built by the programming team. We are not yet sure of the feature set they will offer. However at this point in time i am sure that use of html tags will not be available.
Unfortunatly this is for everyone's security to prevent malicious code attacks.

1. With the population growing, are there plans to introduce additional systems?
2. Will we ever be able to reverse Engineer via Lab slots? I would not expect a 100% success either. Depending upon skill levels and time researching, we would either create a BPO, limited BPC, fail or even destroy the item and fail.

How about getting rid of the cap penalty for activating modules? That makes refitting at a POS pretty much senseless for anything larger than a frig. Reduce or eliminate this penalty within the POS area and within a certain range of Titans/Carriers/fleet support uberships.
