Blasters are naff tbh, i dont see any reason to use them over rails. Same damage (since you need to run the weaker guns to get a full rack) and silly cap drain, not to mention range  .
Ive tried blasters once, and dont intend to try em again they just dont.....work.

I must say that I hunt rats with blasters and I'm doing usually 100-200 dmg.

Im using T2 neutrons on a Vindicator and thats all i get on anything, npc or player.
And woot for the fixing!

Im caldari first i dreamed about megatron then i get one started to fly it before nerf and upgrade frenzy, was a good ship,
Then evry ship gone with his boost or new weapon and i still used my fitting on my mega...
I had to say i was using 7 modal electron aprticule... 1 heavy dimishing
1 mwd 1cap injector 1 scramble /WEB
up to 7 dmg mod (or 5 with tank or 6 with powerdiag 2 cant remind)
i was always short in cap (tks injector ) and using my hudge dmg amount to covert the no tanking...
Now evry ship is able to do same dmg as me if not better (appoc 4TW) and to TANK too.
So ansew me whats the used of my old megatron???
Will tell ya 7 deep core modulated 2 and its a good miner...
other wise i bought a deimos...
And to close this post i would rather say we allready done 2 thread with more than 89 pages on each without any ansew to this from any dev...
\o/ sure dev love amarr they told us sure they also love caldari and matar whiner but whats about galenteans?
Yeah im caldari... and yeah im flying a megatron...
Why coz maybe now only caldary are tough enough to fly those and evryone use caldari ship...

How long untill we see those changes on SISU TomB ?. A weapon
beeing broken is quiet serious, how many month, 3-4  .

its been more like 10 months. Its a shame really, the megathrons CPU issues ARE a joke. Its really quite annoying. OP, dodgy setup mate lol.
Mimiru > It'd be a tie, the monkies nerfed pooflinger wouldnt have enough tracking to hit the parrot orbiting him, but the parrot's beak is so small it couldnt break the monkey's fur tanking. |

It's been 24 months actually.
The blasterthron had it's prime right after 'the introduction of armor tanking'.
Since then it's only gone downhill.
Not because the megathron has been nerfed directly; But all other fittings/ships have recieved multiple boosts since then, and more general game mechanic changes has severly limited the use of a blasterthron.
I've been thinking of writing an extensive thread to point out and explain them all: "Blasterthron history X - 2 year anniversary: from god of destruction to obsolete crap" to 'celebrate' my 2 years as a blasterpilot. But haven't been a. to do it (as we're talking a post where I'm filling like 5 'max limit characters posts' all by myself + links to alot of old threads).
Drink up, shoot in. Let the beating begin.
