I'd say inspiration for the Gal Mothership is more taken from the city-destroyers in Independence Day or maybe the ship you play the final battle against Xan in Unreal Tournament. Regardless, this version is the best one of all examples, as of yet. So. When are these forums going live in game?

Something Homeworld was an uncontested leader in, but these carriers on first sight sure look very well done. They just scream for a redo on all old shipmodels and skins though. This is against 1000meter stationary targets. It certainly won't be like that when RMR hits TQ.
