Personally, I like the idea of the Amarrian God, but he's a bit too fire and brimstone for my Gallantean tastes. I still have a Deity that I refer to as God, but I'm fairly certain mine doesn't demand that I go out and enslave everyone that doesn't bow down to him.
But you're doing a good job!

Maybe they were not bots and didn't get shut down?
Maybe a complete corp, scared sh*tless because of your terrifying afk-cloaker, that decided it was either better to relocate or not log into eve until your cloaky is gone? Just think of how bad an average post by me is, and then realize half of them are even worse |

Excellent work! *places elbows on desk and clasps hands together, resting chin on hands behind a sinister grin*
Fun little story, a few years ago I used to go ratting in a system up the pipe belonging to my enemy. They had a carrier ratting in there, and it ws a good -0.7 system with plenty of belts. I'd get a twofer: I shut down the carrier and rat his system for hours. |

I am shocked, just shocked.
Your story implies that this was a null sec operation. As far as I know, based on what the null sec propagandists and CCP imply, is that botting is only done in high sec.
No one in null sec uses bots to run combat sites. Null sec players never cheat.
Further, even if a null sec player would stoop as low to bot, and even with all the changes to "rebalance resources" it is still far to dangerous to consider using bots to run massive ore and ice mining fleets, since the risk / reward balance is STILL too far out of whack, and null sec income needs another 10 fold increase just to run a single mining boat, let alone a bot fleet.
It is pretty clear that the floor on null sec income must be 400-500 M / hour / account, to justify anyone doing any non- PvP activity in null sec.
CCP, you must nerf high sec from existence and increase the value of null sec rats and ore belts 10 fold immediately to save the game, as we all know that null sec player base is the only player base that keeps CCP surviving. |

Wut?
I used to go on 40 jump roams where every system had a single carrier bot ratting that would insta-warp to a POS when we jumped in. |

No no, you must be mistaken. From all that I have read on the forums, no one in null sec can bot because it is so dangerous in null, and the intel channels and cyno-jamming of systems just are not good enough to allow for botting to take place. Further, as already stated, the reward is just not high enough in null sec to justify the tremendous risk involved to rat / mine in null sec while at the keyboard, let alone run bot programs, or heaven forbid, entire fleets of mining bots.
At least, that is what I infer from the statements by knowledgeable null sec players who post on the forums, and clearly, they must be correct. How else do you explain the fact that CCP has bent over backwards to accommodate their reasonable requests to increase null sec mining income an order of magnitude, and plan on increasing yet again? |

Is that better or worse? I'm not sure. Keeping bots from running = good. Keeping a whole corporation from running due to one afk cloaker = even better?

Another interesting thing. The pos is a large with a ton of assembly arrays, corp hanger and ship maintenance bay... and zero hardeners and defenses.
So do I destroy the pos and see what candy falls out or just perma afk cloak in there and deny the bot income/RMT until they move. I'm just worried that if I kill the pos and peace out, they will just slap up a new operation elsewhere. . |

Pop it. If it is truly a bot he won't realize the danger he is in, he will sit there while the POS dies, then take his ratting ship. |

Back in the day I wouldn't kill a botter, I'd just come in every hour, search the belts and many time collect the faction loot they'd leave behind. I'm guessing bots are smarter now and don't leave good loot lying around maybe, i don't know, but in a week of doing that in 2009 or '10 I got a Domination Tower BPC and a Mach BPC lol.
later we used to kill bots by bubbling every sngle belt and leaving, coming back a few minutes later.. it was too much fun lol/ |

If they land I. A belt with a bubble they immediately align out and kill it. Tengus align incredibly fast and the time it takes you to jump in system, load grid, get insanely luck with a directional scan, warp to the belt, they are looooooong gone.
Still. I take solace in knowing that while I'm at work, the bit just sits in his tower, doing nothing due to my cloaked up afk alt. . |
