They formed up before us with a massive strat op including fleets of tengu, rail megas, caracals and celestis. About 800 people. And they got there first. Test and allies formed up moderately slowly then bridged to 6VD. 600 or so of us including N3 and PL. Some friendlies from KRAK alliance in interceptors showed up on our titan and 2 got murdered by idiots. Sorry Kraken. bros. We bridged into EI- and attempted to dps the sbu before the ihub, which had already been shot at for several minutes by a massive CFC armada, died. I had eyes on the ihub with a cloaky alt and saw a hero celestis go in to check the ihub's life. (For people new to sov mechanics an ihub is vulnerable if there are SBUs deployed on over half of the stargates. So one way to defend an ihub is to kill the dudes shooting it but it can also be defended by killing enough SBUs to turn the ihub invulnerable). We managed not to communicate the information that we were losing the dps race however and a couple of minutes later the SBU we were shooting became invulnerable, signifying the attackers had pushed the ihub into its second reinforce. Kurator extracted us through the J5A gate where we set up to see if the hostiles would jump into us. They didn't want to. I got eyes on the J5 gate in EI- and for a good 20 minutes friendlies were solo warping into an 800 man fleet on the heavily bubbled gate. It was a bit tragic seeing this massive hostile blob and seeing XX [Condi] is warpscrambling XX [TRIBE] Oneiros 20 minutes after everyone else had left. That plus bombing runs accounts for pretty much all the kills in EI- One of the entertaining things about watching that gate was seeing BL and Pizza cheerfully bombing the CFC, Guess that merc contract didn't work out too well for Mittens. After a few minutes it was clear that they wouldn't jump into us so we decided to extract. We got through B-D and as far as XT- where we had several disconnects including myself and the FC. We got back in and burned for the middle of Syndicate. Just as I left XT- I saw Mr Vee and about 60 people come into local, it emerged they were in stealth bombers. They began catching stragglers - here's the trail of tears: 5-M 2 phoons, cruiser XT- 4 ships 1-3 domi A-S geddon 2P- no losses found OLT napoc, apoc, 2 domis 31- 2 ships As we got into OLT we caught a glimpse of a Goon Cheetah jumping in with us. One of our dics reacted by bubbling, catching some TEST and allied battleships so that they got killed by the chasing stealth bombers. It was a really bad bubble and he then lied and said it wasn't him. Pro tip, when you kill friendlies by bubbling them you show up on the kill mails Our FC then gave a really calm explanation that it's ok to make mistakes - it's TEST - but to please just own up to them after. We then got to our extraction point at RF-. We warped about a bit, knowing that there were hostile bombers in position near our POS then warped to the pos just as the titan bridge. Bombers decloaked, we all tried to click jump, most of us made it, another panicky dictor bubbled thinking - I don't know? catching the bombers would be good - and a bunch of people died on the pos shield: RF- 45 ships including 7 battleships and a loki We then got hero bridged by a titan as soon as we hit Fountain and what's left of us got home safely.

There had been a major propaganda effort on Jabber all day by The Mittani which resulted in the CFC getting another massive fleet together of over 800. We formed carriers, apocs, an NC. loki ahac fleet and a large spillover of various random ships. We got to the system first this time and formed up on the ihub several minutes in advance. The CFC stood down, blueballing us with Mittens allegedly smugging about it. We repped up the ihub and killed the 2 SBUs in the system and are currently moving off to find more structures to kill. DBRB attempted a bombing run at the second sbu and for a moment it looked nasty as our hics had been slow to put up defensive bubbles. We escaped more or less unscathed much to our FC's puzzlement. Then we realised that some hero geddons had smartbombed the incoming bombs and saved us. Of course the FCON bomber who bombed the wrong way helped us too.

Meanwhile in their Skyscraper of Evil suited Goon executives are frantically typing angry memos and ferociously auditing detailed spreadsheets proving that us running around Fountain kicking their stuff in is a detriment of many percentile points to our morale and cash reserves. At least our reimbursement team will get a night to catch up
