Undecided tbh.
Though things may be decided for me if the playing figures continue to tumble.
I have everything crossed they won't though

I was gonna say no. But I think it's just the fact that it's too hot at the moment to spend much time at my poota...
When the long, cold, wet nights arrive, Eve'll come into its own, I reckon. So yes, I'll renew.

Yep, definately renewing and I'm pretty sure most if not all of Jericho Fraction are of the same opinion, its simply a sensible allocation of personal weath to keep funding the development of the most interesting space combat and trading game since elite. Not much cost in real terms; bundles of potential and lots of things to look forward too ...
I agree also with people who believe that the community itself will only get better with the exit of people who do more time moaning than playing and are continually doing down; the devs, their rivals, hard fortune, indeed anything that threatens their place in the status quo.
Grow up chaps and see what you have ... the grass isn't always greener and eve is spectacular in the variety of ways to "get even."
Love and peace

I'd just like to reiterate that yes, I *am* staying.
Like Jade says, revenge is multi-faceted in Eve. And before long, every act in the game will be revenge for another.
hey, maybe revenge will actually take place of payment...
"How much for that Scorpion?" "50M. Or alternatively, you can be the instrument of my revenge against Mr. X, and get it for half price. I will, of course, be expecting his carcass." "forkin A!"

I sure will be renewing my subscription, no question. If all it takes for some to leave is a few teething mistakes by CCP in they way they decided to handout items, the game is probably better off without them. Just think, things are starting to kick off and some are declaring they won't be renewing because of a few small problems which undoubtebly won't repeat themselves.
OK CCP, people have gone in to bat for you guys here, show us what you guys can do

No, ccp would have to turn the game around completely, sort out all the major bugs and add all the content that was promised on the side of the box and in the manual, for me to ever consider renewing.
There have already been a few people leave my corporation, and i am sure, everyone elses corporations due to the problems as well.

Definitely renewing.
So the miner II handout was unfair. But thats life.
Eve is by far the best game I have ever played.
Never before have I logged onto a game before I go to work just to see how things are going.

I still have about 4 or 5 months left before I have to decide to renew. At the moment the Miner II issue does not sit well with me. CCP appear to have*****ed that one up.
It will be interesting to read the "road map" when that is published and see how much they keep to it. I remember E&B promising so much and frankly delivered so little.
If the Devs pander to the whims of a few large corps then I am out of here. If the only way to truly succeed in this game is to join a mega corp I then I am out of here.
But at the moment I like the game and I am having fun. Long may it continue. Count my vote as abstention.

While I'm pretty unhappy about a lot of things, Eve is the only MMORPG I've continued to enjoy beyond a month (and I've played pretty much all the major ones).

If the active player base continues its slow decline, I'll probably leave. The game needs a steady supply of new players in order to remain reasonably balanced. I don't want to play if there are 3,000 of us online all flying BBs, and that looks like a distinct possibility for 2-3 months time.

Defiantly going to renew. Customer service has been excellent for me, never waited more than 30 minutes for a petition, always had polite helpful answers that made perfect sense.
And i've been having fun since day 1, I think this game rocks no matter what. Tech2 tech3 blah blah blah, so what. The game is still fun -

I don't know.
I'd like to stay because I'm part of a corp who are a great bunch of people, and theres always the hope that CCP will get their act together.
I'd like to go because lately I seem to be logging on out of necessity rather than enjoyment, and there seem to be more ****ers here than any other mmorpg I've ever played (though that might be me getting old and jaded).
It's a tough call.

Yup definitly Renewing
I mean cmon what game can you launch drones that mine and fight. You can fly around in a huge cruiser and even larger Battleships that are to scale.
You can warp to a sun and bask in its corona...AND NOT DIE!!!! I actually like that because of my suicidal nature LOL
You can mine and it looks pretty. It isn't as tedious as some games.
You can target multiple ships and last there is a laser called the MEGA LASER!!!!! And it sounds Devastating!!!
Yes I do enjoy this game very much. Heh I have played everquest and other MMOG. This one leaves them all in the dust. _______________________

Edited by: Beringe on 11/08/2003 13:53:52 Absolutely!
I've been enjoying this game immensely, and it has done nothing but improve since I began playing. The potential is enormous, and despite what the nay-sayers and whiners have been complaining about (often hypocritically, and/or in direct contradiction to their last complaints), it is living up to that potential. At least in my opinion.
Judging by the people actually sticking around, I can't help but note that the game will probably be improving even faster in the future...
EDIT: Oh, and by the way...the jovians' presence in this thread is further proof that our Dev's are actively participating (albeit usually silently, and who can blame them?) in everything that happens. It is a *good sign* (tm) that everything is heading in the right direction when the Devs are having fun *with* us. I've loved the whole episode regarding the miners, even if I wasn't in the right place to participate.
No doubt my corporation would have attempted a bit more parley than appeared to have been done, though. ;) ------------------------------------------- "My main griveance with the Caldari state was that once I had finished my work for them, they wanted me dead."

I'll renew for one more block.... but this whole fiasco has ruined my faith in CCP management. If there isn't a marked improvement in the way things are handled I'll be leaving as well. The sad thing is I'll actually miss my Corp mates.. and MANY of the other players... that's why I enjoyed it so much here.
