Originally by: Katamarino You, by imposing your fleets on our systems, are MAKING it your job to 'protect' the corps who use them. This is your whole mission statement. So don't about-turn now.
The Federation systems actually and I am not aware of any operations in your area so no, itÆs not our job to defend you.
Originally by: Katamarino You can look at the dates of the very logs your lackeys posted above, can you not? As for last nights act of piracy - as soon as my pilot is online i shall be examining the killmail.
IÆve seen last nightÆs killmail, I was referring to the event you mentioned that took place æmonths agoÆ.
Originally by: Katamarino Aha! You shall do as you see fit to achieve your goals. EXACTLY the same as any pirate corporation - achieveing their goals no matter what people think. In this statement you prove your rather dubious role.
Oh no, I have been bested by your superb logic.... You are quite correct as this obviously makes an evil pirate organization.
Originally by: Katamarino Stop trying to pretend toy act for the greater good - as YOU SAID above, you are not. You are merely trying to claim territory for YOURSELVES (not 'The Federation') in the manner of any pirate corporation.
You do not have the moral high ground you seem to hold so dear.
Actually itÆs you that seems to claim the moral highground and we really have no special interest in the Lisbaetanne system, itÆs just another low security system like many others the Federation owns.
Originally by: Delmore SO now the truth comes out, you are not protecting. You carried out a revenge attack on the innocent.
Attack our members and expect to be shot, its really simple.
It doesnÆt matter how many lies you come up with and how good you make yourself feel when you try and make fun of someoneÆs name, in the end it is you whoa re the pirates.
WeÆve seen enough and well be in touch. ------------------

Just to pick up on this:
That the Federation owns. Not you. You and the Federation are different, and you do not seem to realise this.
It is low security for a reason - the Federation choose not to put concord or a navy there. So who are you to say 'The Federation are wrong'?

Hmmm. I am not going to edit my posts, but will add that nothing I say here is personal. Corelli corp are roleplayers and I have slipped towards that somewhat myself. Discussions about territory always get heated.
Mr Foiritain and I shall be entering into discussions tomorrow, until then I shall not be conversing further on matters.

Could I just point something out? The Wings of Redemption have never recieved any products, services or ISK from Proteus Ship Services.
There is also no ambiguity in our presence... we are pirate scum.. honest pirate scum. We will attack targets of oppertunity if we think we'll make a buck.. or, to be honest, simply because we want a killmail. However, everybody KNOWS that about us. We're the 6th most notorious corp in the game, according to E-ON, and I'll make no bones about the fact that I enjoy my status.
The crux of the matter is honesty. I claim no moral high ground.. we blow people up for fun and profit. When we ransom.. we will release those pilots who pay us. This is a trust issue, and thanks to our absolutely flawless reputation for honesty, people know they can expect to survive a ransom encounter, as long as they give us the ISK.
This nonsense with GFG amuses me... simply because they do not seem to be honest. Be one thing or the other... be a pirate if you like! It's a laugh and you get fanmail.. be an anti-pirate if you like! It's probably very entertaining... but don't be both. If you're both, then nobody will trust you.
Friendly warning.
*edit* Hey! Joshua Foiritain looks like a slightly less manly version of me! Could he be my long lost up-tight roleplaying little brother?

Lol, back when I was a pirate hunter I used to ask in the Recruitment channel if any pirate corps were recruiting. If I get a reply I mark em down, get their memberlist and start hunting.

I don't need a magazine to tell me I'm bald. The list seemed kind of gossip-tabloidish, y'know... the other two are more 'omg facts' (deaths : system, and collective bounties), but anyone with a meanstreak can go to -10 with ease.

ARF ARF ARF
If you wanna kill pirates, why not kill the pirates?
I don't personally kill anything; I just sit in station all day and belittle my corpmates (and everyone else really; what can I say, my ***** is small and it /is/ the internet), but the fact of the matter is I think this is all pretty silly (again with the belittling) and with no efficacy thusfar displayed I dont see any reason to give any merit to killing a couple miners because they have some arguably immoral friends.
This is kind of like me getting dressed in the morning to go beat up some sex offender's highschool friends. It'll be fun, like a crusade. I can make up some bombastic story about a deviant-free utopia and hope I dont get arrested for assault or battery.
But maybe not?

Velsh - Hinik obviously didn't tell you, but we were not waiting for you at all. The trap was for an entirely different (and far less capable, as it happens) corp who were attacking Proteus - WOR were helping US. Of course, when your 3 ships warped in and started blowing us up, what were we meant to do other than spring the trap - politely ask you to stop?

This is hilarious.
First to the ATUF trolls.. lol. We don't work together.. we don't shoot at Proteus because Kata is an ex WOR member and we think she's cool.. plus she flirts with everybody in the channel and we're reasonably sure she's a real life girl.
I'll repeat.. in case you're losing your grip on the obvious.. Proteus ship services have never paid us any ISK.. they have given us no ships, no modules, no fuel, no trade goods... no bookmarks.. no nothing.
Oh I think one of my alts once bought an Iteron V from Kata.. but I'm not sure, she might have been in WOR when that happened.
There is no conspiracy. What would be the point? I know the names of perhaps two Proteus pilots other than Kata... hand on heart.
GFG.. god.. you guys brought a Catalyst to OMS today? I just heard. Haha.

Edited by: Koopy on 26/11/2005 00:22:26 For a corp that 'claims' essence low sec we haven't seen much in the way of defending it. When one of your pilots in a geddon was attacked by a lone taranis the geddon proceeded to safe spot and log then when he did return he just hid in a safe spot until we left.
As for prote paying WOR to say in the area, it doesnÆt matter, prote are being targeted as they actively help WOR in attacking neutrals.
As for the Catalyst, our fleet could have been comprised of Velators and WOR would still run away

Koopy, I suggest you give up on this thread as I have. I don't suppose you're going to elaborate truthfully on what other ships were in system (who will attack the elite frig when a fleet is about to jump to it, after all), and I don't see that this thread serves any useful purpose. I have a feeling noone else cares anyhow.

Brains and balls are on different sides of the body for a reason. Interceptors get stuff killed. Are you trying to tell me you'd loaf around a hostile area, waiting to get killed just to try to clober a group of us away with your huge balls? We do not take kindly to having huge balls swung around willy-nilly. Balls have corners, and can take out eyes.

I will give you a quick rundown of Wings of Whichamacallit. Once upon a time, there was a neat space game called Homeworld. It was a very aluring game, with it's fancy 3d controls, kickass soundtrack and complete balance of units. A bunch of silly people from all over the world bought or ordered this game, ourselves included. Myself, Stone, and some others within the corp meet eachother and exchange formal bodyslams, as it was the trend of the time. We all at some point join a 'clan' called 9th sbg and have years of rockin' good times. We do our own things and make a decent name for ourselves. Fast forward 4 years; 9th has gone through it's ups and downs, but being chums, we stuck together. EvE beta comes out... alas, another cool space game! So we all hop aboard the 5 o'clock steam to addiction central and start playing.... we try many things. Eventually, we find out respective grooves... We've let in various other groovy people whom we've met and came trust along the way. For some, this involves turning spaceships into tiny cans with shiny objects within. Others harvest giant space rocks, while others kick NPCs in the mouth and sweettalk contacts within various factions. We're a bunch of old friends having fun, above anything else; we don't care if anyone proclaims we're not 'hardcore' enough, or whatever. We're not here to be told what we should be, y'know? We do what we feel like. That's basically it. Take it as you will. As for the magazine,.. it was a good laugh, if nothing else. We hardly expected to be there. That's us in a nutshell. Who else has a story?
