As for Shiva testing, we will have a "DNR list" or a "Do Not Report list" for RMR testing. The purpose of this list is to list issues that CCP is aware of and does not require more info on to prevent redundant bugreports and extra work for the bughunters and dev team. At the next Singularity update, we will integrate the effect system rewrite. However, some effects are still missing or broken.
Here is a list of bugs/issues that we do not require bugreports on:
- Warp effect is missing
- "Warp drive active" message does not disappear at the end of warp
- Stargate jumping does not show an effect
- Smartbomb don't show an effect
- Turrets only show an effect for the first shot

Addenda:
Missiles are screwy and aren't being cleaned up properly, this will cause a load of errors when they appear to get stuck to your ship.
Stargate jumping effect, pod splat and a few others are missing, most combat effects should work fine though.
Expect visual changes for a number of effects, including things like graphical effects not stacking any more.

why dont u fix the old bux before you bring out RMR (wich probitly will containt new bugs) my asset system is still not working neather is the chat and its very anoying when i lost sp altough my clone is up to date.

Logging on to sisi and trying to take part in any situation where there are a lot of effects running will likely just result in client issues at the moment.
Warping in: There's a bug that can cause your client to lock up when you warp in, there's nothing you can do about it. Drones: In the current version, there's a problem with drone turrets [they error out when they fire]. As such, it's best if you don't use drones. Missiles: There's some issues with missiles not being correctly removed from space. This manifests itself in a stream of 'Ball not in park' errors in the log.
I'm hoping to address all these issues on Saturday, although I don't know when we could release a client patch after that.

If only I had seen this thread a few seconds ago. Good to know about the drone problem,, was using some a little while ago and didn't know what was going on. Also just reported the missile problem. Good luck cleaning this up Redundancy :)

There may be a client patch later today that resolves a lot of the problems with this that we listed (not some of the missing stuff, that took a back seat to the bugs). I'll be back in on Sunday if there's any more ugly problems.

I witnessed this on Friday night, however it was on TQ. Light Missles "hung in space" at a jump gate. The fellow I killed was in a caracal, I in a crow.
BR was filed, but I assume its deep in the pile.

Could you also please do so we can see the drone dmg with skills on? Since thats a MAJORELY NEEDED THING when number of drones is being traded for dronedamage.
And please do so drones DO AS WE SAY TO THEM. If we order them to Return To dronebay, PLEASE make them ALL do so and not the first 2 that comes back.
And the fact with drones doing whatever they want if they are too close is also bad. Remove it. Drones attacking other stuff than you order them to = suicide.!

I read in the font thred on second page on these forums that I'm supposed to bug report issues with the font, so I thought I'd do just that because I get headaches from reading it. However, the bug report form seems down at the moment (it's stuck on loading the BR page after having logged in) so I was wondering if I should come back later or maybe file my complaint some place a bit more intelligent than a "signed" thred.
Or is it some sort of do not report issue by now?
P.S. BR the BR page, anyone?
Apparently, when there's new patch notes I sound like I'm 4 years old on christmas EVE on TS. |
