Allright. Got my new Ship. Think I'll cruise over there in a shuttle and pick it up. Put on my sunglasses, threw some LiFs in the trunk, and cruised over to pick up my new baby.
Allright, got in, worked great. Told the recycle guys to take care of the shuttle
Anyone guess what comes next?
"AHH!!! Wait, My LiFs are in the trunk!!!!! NO NO NO NO NO!!!!" I watch the cruncher eat the shuttle and spit out a coupla thousand units of Tritanium. Suspiciously missing are any minerals from my LiFs. I put a petition (in the other section) cuz I think we should get a warning. You think I got a shot at gettin those LiFs back? or maybe the minerals from em?

I thought shuttles had not enough cargo for the LIFs

when they changed the loot volume did they make LIFs take up less than 10M3?... duh! I'm getting old.

um.. maybe in the patch that made all the volumes for items really small so we could go deep space hunting and not fill up in 3 seconds.
Just a guess though

Yeah, I am aware of that, I just thought LIFs still took up a bit more... guess not.

Well i dont think i got any LiFs on me, but i dont know. Seems most things take either 5m3 or 10m3 now though, except drones

Yup, LiF's only take 5m3 space now.
So the poor lad probably trashed two of them

are we talkign regular LIFs or QUAD Lifs?
cause if its the Quads that is like parking your ferrari in downtown newark and leaving the keys in the ignition

I just put my shuttles up for sale for 10k, so far they have all been bought, infact someone bought one today.
You can no longer accidently sell modules with your ship, they drop in your hangar next to the package after repackaging ship for selling, not sure about items in your cargobay though.

Yeah Galen but he said he recycled his shuttle (why I dont know.. jeez just sell the thing) with 2 LIF's in the cargo bay. All I can say is.. ouchie.

talking of shuttles, we were out robbing people last week, and we won a thorax. I quickly ran to get a shuttle, and came back to pick it up.
As I was tanking towards it at 600m/s, I decided to try 'board ship' from 18km. It worked.
Sadly, nobody turned off the shuttle when I left. As I hobbled the knackered thorax back towards the gate, I saw my shuttle blink off into the distance, far beyond my weapons range.
It's still out there somewhere in lonetrek. I'll give anyone 500k isk for a screenshot. Then destroy it, as I wouldn't want to throw my enemies off the scent, would I?
As for your LiFs - they gone, I fear. I've done the same thing myself. Not to mention realising how useful most of the old 'rare' loot was worth two weeks after recycling the lot.
It builds character.
