Quote: The Amarr Empire can cure all of the men, women and children it has poisoned with Vitoc and free every last Matari held in slavery.
Khaldorn? Is that you? Sorry, but that line sounded vaguely familiar. It's not bound to happen. If a cure for Vitoc is found a new, meaner and even harder to counter way to keep slaves in line will be found by scientists somewhere in the Empire - or maybe even Caldari, as it would be a perfect business opportunity.

Dont worry brothers, under their arrogance they are just scared. However, do not try to argue with them, their Empire brainwashed them from birth, free thinking is not your typical Amarrians trait. Let alone a slavers.
In this case I am convinced it is bound to happen. It's a matter of logical thinking. For the Empire Vitoc is not really vital. It is convenient but there's plenty of holders who prefer other methods, especially for labour colonies. If it should prove to not be useable anymore my prediction is that the old 'Vitoc' - toxic substances - will be used again until a better substance can be created. Not as reliable as the Virus but filling the gap nicely until someone steps up with an enhanced substance to sell under the same brand.

In fact Vitoc isn't heavily used on planets at all. Vitoc is mainly used for those slaves serving in the fleet (for reference see: Chronicles). It would be a perfect waste of resources to employ it on those serving as labour slaves in mining colonies or in agricultural centers.
Once again I am glad that I don't use slaves to man my ships. Pure Amarr crews bring greater responsibility but also greater security.

Quote: That 'information' is years and years old now slaver. Vitoc has no doubt now been developed as a highly cheap form of slave subjigation. Who wouldnt use it? Who needs guards, fortifications, fences, patrols or in fact anything like that when every slave has the threat of the most painful death hanging above their head should they disobey.
Guesswork and assumptions. I presented facts. Aren't you usually the first to point out how backwards the Empire is and how slow things develop here? Always as it suits you. A cure for Vitoc might help the 'Republic' solve som of it's problems with stolen slaves but it will not be the downfall of the Empire. Wishfull thinking on your behalf maybe. Keep dreaming.

Obviously wrong. As Concord and their 'Salvage Laws' are quoted over and over in this thread I might point out that Conord also acknowledges that slavery is legal in the Empire. As such we own billions of slaves of Matari origin in fact. For the last part: good luck. Taking your past success as a marker and considering the breeding rate I'll take the liberty to call you Sysyphus in the future.
Quote: You stole them from their homes, you enslaved them, you terrorised them. We are now fighting you terrorists to reclaim our peoples freedom. As have we ever.
Will there ever be a piece of flawed logic you won't pick up to reiterate a thousand times until you (and only you) believe it's the truth, Khaldorn?

The difference is that the 'Republic' has accepted the Amarr Empire as a sovereign state while the Amarr Empire does not acknowledge that the 'Republic' is a sovereign state.
Why are we arguing with uneducated barbarians who don't even abide to the wishes and laws of their own 'state' again and again? Let them bash their shields, paint their faces and shout all they want. Since when does the oak care about the sow rubbing on it's bark?

Inncorrect! By signing the Yulai Accord and accepting the Minmatar Republic as a signer, the Amarr Empire has accepted us as a full and equal sovereign state, for only sovereign states were invited to sign.
PS: Check your bark, I think you have a massive case of BLIGHT
You may remember that the whole treaty almost failed as Amarr refused to sign it with the 'Republic' being part of it. As far as I remember the treaty was only signed by Amarr under the premise of not accepting the 'Republic' as a state in the end, which was still more acceptable than a complete failure to your Gallente 'friends' and the Caldari. I'll see if I can find the source.

The fear so openly voiced here is obvious. The Amarr are quaking and trembling in fear, fear that they have finally realized how frail their 'House of Cards' of an Empire stands.
Another case of wishfull thinking on UKs behalf. A pattern is evolving.
