I was just informed that Tank CEO has been temp banned (i hope only temp) for killing people in 1.0 space. Now what is wrong with you CCP? I want an answer and very quick.
You banned Tank CEO for killing people in 1.0 yet you left all of m0o people alone when they were doing this.
Seems like a lotta favoritizm here, but what's new what MMORPG game has a totaly neutral dev team... ANSWER: NONE.
It would be nice to PAY TO PLAY a game that has an absolute neutral stance to all players... but that isn't going to happen.

i think its a case of tank was out right ignoring the warning and knowing he was exploiting.

This is what I cried for; a ban on Tank. I'm glad CCP responded (provided what you say is true). Temp ban is probably better than a perm ban though. How long is the ban for? A week?
I hope he figures it out and learns how to respect the rules.

i'd like to say that ccp should of fixed that bug b4 banning the player,it's not the players fault if the game has a bug/glitch in the game...
killing in a 1.0 is not fair and stupid and most likely an exploit...
there is 2 views on this,hehe!

Glad to see there are going to consequences for outright ignoring of exploit warnings. There should be a level of punishment for these things. Hopefully the temp ban will get the message across and a future permanent ban won't be necessary.

because he KNOWS its a exploit and continues to do it........so what they fix the bug and then he waits for the next one.....come on if they do it and continue to do it on purpose...they are breaking the rules of the land and deserv to get whats coming

Do we know how many warnings Tank may have got ?
And second of all, the blockade m0o had last night was in Aunenen (hope i'm right) and that is a 0.4 system (hope i'm right again)...
m0o were bad once and probably are still, but killing everybody in a 1.0 system is not fair to anyone. His poor scorp wouldn't have been able to escape to low security space.

Tank CEO was warned by CCP Saturday night about the bug and killing ppl in 1.0 systems. Due to chat leakage, it sounded to me that he was back at it last night. But I can't confirm this since I only saw his side of the conversation.

He was not exploiting, a GM also told him that he was not exploiting.
There is favoritism in game can't you feel it? how can you deny it, if your 200 subscribers in your corp or 500 in your alliance the GM's will favor you simply.
Tank was not exploiting, it isn't his problem he is a good player is it now? If you want to cry train gunnery lvl 5 and then come cry.

smoked, im sorry but are you just looking for excuses to turn everything against CCP? This time you just made yourself look silly.
The very definition of an exploit is using a flaw in the game mechanics to further yourself or cause others harm. So using the bug in the sec status drop to -10.0 to go on repeated rampages in 1.0 space IS an exploit. Im assuming that Tank must have done this repeatedly to desewrve a ban, perhaps the other "evil" players in the game took their warnings.

Look, I am not trying to get anyone against CCP they have enough hate mail I am sure everyday.
However; banning a player when he is told he is not exploiting is plain stupid.
If you think -10.0 sec security status is a joke, why don't you drop yours and enter 1.0 space you will soon find out it is no joke at all, and does require a high degree of skill to even be in those systems with -10 sec status.

I saw Tank CEO's post (before it was deleted)that had within it a transcript of him arguing with a GM over him pirating in 1.0 space. The GM was telling him not to, but he was arguing with the GM saying that since the code alowed him to then it is a valid activity. The GM however said that this was a violation if CCP poliacy and therefore asked him (showing remarkable patience and tolarance, more then I would of showed) politlely to stop. In the end the GM, as one would got a bit hot under the collar and narky with Tank CEO, and he in turn used this opertunity to use the old "the customer is alway right" line, I think he even asked for the GM's manager! However it seems that Tank CEO has continued to ignore the GM's warning, and in line with CCP policy which is what I imagine the GM's are paid to enforce, his account was suspended.
I think Tank CEO forgot the most important thing...GM's are your GOD. 
While GM's do have a cutomer service role, it isnt their primary function. They are paid to enforce CCP's policys and rules, they are the referees, the judges, the people who give you red cards, the ones who report you for striking, the ones who yell "FOUL BALL", the ones who John McEnroe used to ***** the ****s at, so on and so forth. Tank CEO, you broke the rules, so it the sin-bin for you. If you dont like the rules, complain to CCP as it them who make them. The GM's dont make the rules they just enfroce them, and we should RESPECT their authrority and the desisions they make. After all they make the game fair for everyone, be it for the pirates (the ones who justly play within the rules of the game), the miners, the traders as well as the many other people who play this game.
So I ask that people show the maturaty you have, and repect the poor GM's and try and the decisions they make. After all, how crap would this game be if the rules where not followed and enforced?

they shouldn't NOT ban tank for using exploits because others use them too. they should ban EVERYONE who knowingly uses exploits to gain advantage.
tank isn't the only person playing eve. what about the dozens or hundreds of players that he kills when he shouldn't be allowed to. i guess their money doesn't matter as much as his.

The GM who I assume got the ban put on even went as far as to say he was free to attack people in 0.8 systems, from what Tank was posting in IRC.
Obviously that wasn't good enough. people in 0.8 might have upgraded their civ gatling guns...
I have no problem with someone running through a 0.0 system, and capping some poor fool. But sitting there for hours like a zombie poppin everything that comes past you is crossing a line.
CCP drew the line.
Tank threw sand in their eyes.
Ban.
