problably the best idea would be that after certain lvl or experience like in diablo that u need to be at least lvl 9 to engage pvp. that sounds good idea, and not having alt chars i guess and skill training while they are in low sec that would work awsomely. i mean for everything there is a way around it. if u keep people crowded and only in 1 spot the fun goes away really fast.
Actually eve has somehting exactly that. You stay in the NPC corp and in high sec space and your 99.9% safe from any pvp. Enter low sec or join a player corp and you open yourself up to pvp. It's pretty simple

I've been using this character for pirating a bit and I found out as a pirate you useually make most money by blowing up the ship and ransom the pod. It'll give you loot and some isk as well. And it's less of a risk because it costs notime to blow up the pod and warp out when backup arrives instead of having to go trough some structure first AND the whole pod. Ship killing first, ransom the pod after, that's what works best!

Gotta love how everyone and there mom uses the possable alt as a reason to blow everyone up. From pirates to allainces.
I can understand pirates better than allainces
Allainces are funny when they feed you that old line.
Yea i mean if i wanted a spy alt in your area i couldnt sneak an ibis in before downtime or after noooo. No one could pull that one off. Heck i've managed to sneak many in during prime time. Just an excuse to blow poepel up :p
Not that i care but gosh be honest about it. ------------------------------------------- Aye Spellcheck is beyond me along with propper grammer. |

i'm a pirate, and i kill for fun/isk.
That means i shoot at ANYONE that flys in a ship i can take out in a location i can get away with it, a kill mail and corpse means as much to me as a honered ransome.
Yes alts often carry valuble stuff, but so do newbs to the game.
I dont carry a ship scanner, as im happy to pop open the webbed and scrambled to see what ive won, besides a ship scanner, A SHIP SCANNER on my ship!! i dont think so i like survivabilty and dmg, and they come first everytme :)
Pirating's like a box of chocolates. . . . .

anyone who enters low sec is a fair game if you ask me. as said before, alts/noobs etc can carry valuable stuff, so shoot away. I tend to ransom cruisers and above if i can, depending on the situation, anything else kaboom, and hope the loot can has some goodies in it Yarrr!

It's a bigger problem than you might think. And it doesn't matter when the slipping in takes place: what matters is when you have enemies running around and a new character sitting there observing your ships. For all you know, said alt actually belongs to your enemies and is saying "Okay, they've got x ships on this gate" or other valuable info.
I suppose it's not something you can understand until you see how often many folks use that tactic. If it matters, there are alliances out there who are reasonable and will allow rookie pilots into their space and allow a couple of "coincidences" to take place before taking offensive action.
